April 5th.
36 weeks pregnant.
"Evangeline, how are you almost one, precious girl?"
"She's almost one, and you're about to pop!" Autumn rubs Jessica's bump.
"Yep! Momma has her hands full, huh?"
"We all do!"
"That's true, Auttie. You do help out so much! It's like the little ones have a big sister/second little mommy. I'm so so blessed to have you."
"Thanks." Autumn smiles. "Why are there tears in your eyes,"
"Because I love you, Autumn!" Jessica cries and hugs her daughter while still holding Evangeline.
"Eh! Eh!" Evangeline fusses and kicks her legs.
"Uh Oh! What's the matter, Princess?" Autumn takes her baby sister in her arms.
She kisses her cheek and lightly bounces her.
"Don't be cranky, chunky monkey!"
"She is getting chunky, isn't she?" Jessica giggles and pats her bottom.
"But it's so cute on her!
.. Mommy, when does chub and belly rolls stop being cute?" Autumn asks her mother.
"What do you mean?"
"Well there's this boy in my class, and he.. he's a little chubby.. and all of the kids make fun of him for it. But when it's on a baby, everything thinks it's so cute."
"Maybe because they're little? I don't know. People go crazy over baby chub. Are you one of the kids that make fun of him?"
"No! Mommy, I'm nice!"
"Well good. Do you talk to him?"
"No.. I just don't say anything.." Autumn looks down. "But I feel bad for him.. someone told me he's a little autistic too.."
"People with autism are the same as you and me. Sure their challenges are different than ours, but it's not right for them to treat him differently because of the way God made him."
"I know."
"Honey, make friends with him. That's sad that people bully him. Autism and size do not define who a person is. Embrace the chub!" Jessica smiles and squeezes her belly.
Autumn chuckles.
"I will, momma!"

A few days later.
Autumn's POV.
"Autumn, where are you going?" Her friend asks.
"I want to have lunch at another table today." Autumn smiles.
She then walks over to her classmate and sits down.
"Hello!" She smiles.
"Hi.."
"My name is Autumn!"
"I know.."
"And you're Austin!"
"Yeah.."
"Mind if I sit here?"
"No.. why are you talking to me?"
"Because I'd like to be friends!"
"With me? Why? Is this a dare? Because someone has already tried that this year!"
"No! No, I just think you're nice and I want to get to know you better."
"Oh.. thanks.." Austin looks down.
"It's no problem!" Autumn giggles.
"I'll go first. I'll tell you a little bit about me.. uhh.. just a warning, my life is kinda crazy!"
"Okay.."
"So I have parents, Sam and Jessica.
They spit up when I was a baby. My dad then met my step mom, Megan. Years later my mom met this man named Danny. She then had a baby boy named Simba who passed away before he was born. After him came Julia, she's four now. Then Theodore who's three! He's also deaf! But don't worry, he has hearing aids! My step momma, passed away, and so did my baby sister she had just had. Her name is Everly. My mom and Danny always had a marriage that everyone prays they'd never have! My mom found out she was having another baby with him.. or so she thought!" She smirks.
"Danny had been cheating on my mom, and had kids with this other woman, and my mom and my dad also had a little one night thing, which is when my baby sister Evangeline was conceived! Yes, she's my daddy's baby! So then Danny left us the night before Thanksgiving, and my momma and daddy got back together when Evie was born! Just a few months later Danny beat my dad up and he was in the hospital for Soooo Long! Danny went to jail for a little while because it was so bad that my daddy didn't and still doesn't remember a thing from his past!
.. Well, most things! Oh and right before Danny beat him up, my mom got pregnant AGAIN! This baby is my dad's as well. He and my mom kinda sorta broke up afterwards because my dad couldn't remember he even knew her, but they are now back together!" Autumn smiles.
"My baby sister will be one on the twenty first, and my baby brother or sister will be here in about four-ish weeks! My mom says it's her last baby, but I don't believe her!" She giggles. "My mom gets pregnant a lot! So! Tell me about yourself, Austin!" Autumn smiles sweetly.
Austin just stares blankly at Autumn.
"Wow.. and they think I'm weird."
