Today's my pirate princess turns two months old today, time is flying by, it feels like it was yesterday that I was holding her for the first time.
I was pulled out of my thoughts when Skarlet started to cry for attention.
I'm coming princess, I said as I get up from the couch, I walk over to her swing and unbuckle her from it.
Shh It's Okay, Daddy Here Now, I said as I bent down to pick her up.
What Wrong Princess, I said as I rock her.
She just continues to cry her little eyes out.
Let's see if you need a diaper change, I said before I take a peek in her diaper.
No, you don't need a diaper change, you just ate before you lay down for your nap, so you can't be hungry, I said.
Do you just want attention, I asked?
She just looks at me with her big blue eyes.
I'm going to take that as a yes, I said.
