Blake's abrupt tone hadn't gone unnoticed and a huge man jumped out of the drivers side of the car the lady had gotten out of and took wide strides to join us and growled lowly at Blake.

He then wrapped his arm around the lady's shoulder and glared at Blake like he wanted to murder her.

"Don't you dare speak to your mother with that tone. Your sister doesn't deserve that rudeness either" the man warned out in a cold yet alpha like tone. It wouldn't do much to Blake but if he was a wolf he wouldn't be able to help talking that way to protect his mate. Who was Blake's mum. Indy was his sister. What the actual fuck??

"Hey big bro" Indy smirked knowingly at Blake realising that the pieces were forming in my head.

"Indy is your sister? But I met her in Eastley. She offered me a place to stay, a job. How is that coincidence?" I spoke my thoughts out loud as I tried to figure it all out.

Blake said nothing but a very guilty look fell across his face whilst Indy looked on at us with nothing but amusement in her face.

"You compelled me to her on the Eastley bus didn't you? Meeting Indy, the spare room, the job... that was all a set up wasn't it? You absolute sneaky bastard" I yelled at Blake wanting nothing more than to stake him in the ass for being such a sly little shit.

Jace twisted around in my arms and held me tightly so I couldn't get to Blake which made me mad at him too.

He wasn't much better though following me around for three weeks like a creep, a very sexy creep but a creep no less.

"Why are you here?" Blake turned his attention back to his mum which just seemed weird as she barely looked much older than him really.

"We were attacked by Cassius and Issac. Gerard sent them for Freya" the man answered sounding gravely concerned for his mate and angry for his pack.

My head case of a dad was such a prick.

"So you are seeking shelter here?" Jace questioned in his alpha tone to the other alpha.

"Yes I am asking on behalf of my mate and my pack. Your fathers mentioned plans to eridicate their children. The triad. I thought perhaps we could band together and help you defend the bastards that dared hurt my people" the alpha stepped forward to the edge of the gate.

Jace left me where I was with Blake to stand toe to toe with the alpha through the gate and see if his eyes spoke his truth.

"This is our pack, our rules. I'll happily hear your thoughts but I can't promise I'll listen" Jace purposed as sheer power and strength shone out of him taking my breathe away.

"I agree. I'm Nixon Taylor. My mate Freya and my daughter Indy. My other daughter Hailey is asleep in the car. But we are the -"

"Arrowwood pack. I know who you are" Jace cut him off letting him know that he knew exactly who he was all along. He was just keeping his cards close to his chest like any good poker player would.

Jace nodded for the guards to open the gates and a large number of cars began to roll through the perimeter until over 25 cars filled the pack grounds.

People  climbed out looking wearily and exhausted from both their journey here and what I could only imagine was a bloody attack on their people.

Some had makeshift bandages that were soaked with blood and others hobbled around still injured.

Sky, Harry and a few other pack members had joined us to see what was going on and there was no time to explain when these people needed our help.

"Harry round up the injured and lead the walking wounded to the hospital. Have some people carry the others there. Ensure Devon reports to Alpha Nixon and Alpha Jace as soon as he had everyone assessed and treated" I ordered knowing than some people were in dire need of medical help.

"Thank you Luna" Alpha Nixon smiles gratefully at me.

"Don't thank me yet I have no idea where you will all stay" I sighed trying to figure out where we could house so many people.

"There's no need Eden we brought tents that we can happily stay in" Indy explained

"I'll ask Amara if she can do something to make them warmer and abit more homely then. Let me know once the rents are all up and I'll bring her to see you"

"Who is Amara?" Indy asked intrigued by my words

"She's a witch but she's amazing and I'm sure she'll be able to figure it out" I shrugged like it was nothing leaving Indy open mouthed in shock.

"Jace is it okay if I leave you to get everyone sorted out? I need to have a discussion with Blake in private" issuing a death stare at Blake I gave Jace a quick kiss and smiled against his mouth when he slapped my butt in agreement.

"Make sure it's painful" Jace laughed knowing what a wealth of trouble Blake was on.

" fuck you Jace" Blake snarled not enjoying being on my bad side whilst Jace was getting my affection.

"It's great meeting you both but right now I need to go have a talk with my mate, Umm your son" I explained to Nixon and Freya then practically dragged Blake back to the packhouse by his ear like a naughty little chill boy heading to the head mistresses office.

Once we were in the privacy of our bedroom I locked the door so he couldn't escape then stared him down imagining burning hot lasers were firing from my eyes at him.

"You. Fucking. Compelled. Me" I spoke through gritted teeth punctuating each one of my words were a low growl that left no doubt in his mind that I was at the next level of pissed off than murder.

I'd thought he was truly giving me space to figure things out and choose my own path in life but all along he had been controlling them and tricking me.

He compelled me. He used vampire mind tricks to play me into thinking he was the one person that respected me.

Not only that but he'd doubted I'd come back to him and Jace.

That hurt the most.
