Today was already starting to be really crappy.

My back ached, I felt like I was waddling like a penguin rather than walking like a normal person and barely any of my clothes fitted.

But more importantly the pack were leaving later today and that filled me with tremendous anxiety.

I hated that they had to leave but deep down I knew it was for their best interests.

They would be much safer far far away from here and the crazy Three fathers that were intent on ruining our lives.

Usually packs fought together, stood together side by side through thick and thin but this wasn't their fight. If any one of them got hurt or worse I would never forgive myself. As much as I loved each and every one of them as their Luna, it was my job to protect them and this time I felt that getting them away from here was the best way to maintain their safety.

The prophecy stated that it was only familial blood that could end this and therefore innocent blood spilt would have been futile.

The journey to where they were going to stay had been checked a thousand times and Amara and her witch friend Fallon had placed protection spells and other kinds of magical things along the route too. The warriors would be with them at all times and there was nothing more we could do to make things safer.

"What's up grumpy?" Sky said, poking my swollen belly as I tried to get comfortable on one of the sofas in the packhouse lounge.

"I'm not grumpy " I retorted , pouting at her accusation.

"Yeh she's not grumpy, she's just really really moody!" Harry corrected Sky then they both burst out laughing at my misery.

"Haha you two are hilarious. Remind me again why I am going to miss you while you are gone?" My voice was full of sass and I rolled my eyes at them.

"I'm sorry. I know how hard this is for you" Sky apologised, snuggling up beside me with her head on my left shoulder and her hand on my bump.

"I'm sorry too. This just sucks so badly" Harry copied Sky on my right side and his large hand splayed over my bump as the twins kicked and wriggled around in the confined space of my womb.

"Have you guys thought about moonparents yet?" Sky enquired trying to sound as casual as she could but I could see right through it.

"Yes we decided on Nat and Ethan and Daisy and Seb" lying to wind them both up worked a treat and they both looked at me in complete shock.

"Ohh cool..yeh..  they'll be great" Harry mumbled with a sad look in his eyes that he tried to disguise with a smile that didn't meet them.

"Daisy is so strong too...  Seb too... Plus Nat and Ethan being Jace and Blake's siblings, that makes a lot of sense!" Skylar stumbled to find her words, desperately trying to hide her upset and disappointment.

"Well it's not like calling the twins mum 'grumpy' or 'moody' is a good way to gain favour is it you muppets?" There was no hiding my amusement any longer and I laughed so hard I got a stitch in my side. "Oh you should have seen your faces!! Priceless!! "

"Did you just lie to us, Eden??" Sky's eyes widened like saucers.

"Low blow Luna. Lie blow" Harry clutched his heart in a dramatic fashion to show how much I'd hurt him.

"Paybacks a bitch! But no we haven't discussed moonparents yet,  but the two of you have my vote. Always. I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for the love and support you both gave me. You are family to me. I love you both so much. Fuck I'm gonna miss you so much I feel like I miss you already and you haven't even order me yet" suddenly my laughter turned into shaky sobs, tears ran down my face as the realisation that they were amongst the pack members leaving hit me harder than a punch to the stomach.
