Eden PoV

Once we'd made sure the pack was well protected for the next few days Jace and I drove away in his black  SUV to an unknown destination.

He assured me he knew th perfect place to go and I had absolute faith in his abilities to help me regain my wolf whilst maintaining our safety.

We weren't taking anyone else with us so there was nobody to have our backs.

It was just the two of us.

As risky as it was I knew there was no way on earth Jace would put us in any danger plus he was an absolute bad ass so he could handle any threat that was dumb enough to try it with him.

As I watched Woodmoor get further and further away it felt alittle like I was leaving a lot of stress behind too.

My family was the most messed up family I'd ever heard of and in turn I had to admit that I too was pretty screwed up. I'd changed and not all of it was for the better. I'd lied, I'd schemed and I had killed in cold blood but worse than that I'd enjoyed it.

Seeing the light slowly fade from my mothers eyes gave me a raw satisfaction that both thrilled and frightened me in equal measure.

It was like I was paying her back for what she'd done to me all my life. I'd been nothing but a burden to her and when she saw the opportunities she'd true her hardest to get rid of me.

Her own daughter. Her baby girl.

My hands instinctively wrapped around my bump and as I felt my own babies wriggling around in my belly I knew that there was nothing I wouldn't do to protect them.

I would love them unconditionally and they would never once feel the rejection that I had felt.

"Hey what it is?" Jace sounded slightly alarmed when I quickly reached for the hand that was rested on the gear stick and pulled it towards my stomach.

"Feel this" I smiled knowing that once he felt the babies moving his face would beam the brightest most beautiful smile.

"Oh my goddess... Eden the babies are moving around. They are so strong, That's incredible" Jace's eyes darted repeatedly from the road to me and as I hoped his smile could of lit up a room.

"They kicked earlier too. Really hard like you could see little toes poking out. Blake recorded it and sent it to your phone" I assured him making sure he knew that he was just as included in this journey as Blake.

"I haven't had a chance to look at my phone yet. I'll have to thank him. I can't believe we are gonna have two little people to care for soon, love. It hardly seems real but I'm so fucking happy Eden. You have made me the happiest man alive I hope you know that my Luna" Jace's words were so sincere that my heart swelled as his love flowed freely through our bond and I could only hope he was feeling my love back in equal measure.

"I love you Jace" those words didn't even come close to how much I felt for this wonderful man.

"I love you more" he chuckled playfully smirking at me with devilish eyes before focusing back on the road ahead of us.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" I narrowed my eyes suspiciously

"Oh nothing. Just I am looking forward to having you all to myself for a few days. Plus my wolf is really looking forward to meeting your wolf" he wiggles his eyebrows suggestively and licked his lips making all kind of things happen to my body in response.

"Holy shit" muttering under my breathe I clenched my thighs together trying to calm myself down before I jumped his bones and fuck him senseless  whilst he drove.
