Homecoming...

(Adrian POV)

It was time...

I was going to see my Dad, he needs to know I'm alright. I've been gone long enough. How was gonna do this? Just walk up to the house and act natural? 

'Oh, hey Dad... Sorry I died and all. But I'm back and still have no idea what happened in the weeks I was gone. Even though I was dead, I know that I was still consciously doing something'

I think that is a one way trip to making him worried and stressed.

Katsuki had just got dressed, he looked better than yesterday. Like he had a reason to try with his appearance. His face had more life in it and his eyes were back to their usual fierce and strong gaze, but held softness and life within them to. 

"Ready to go?" He was still slightly uncomfortable, started fiddling with the hem of  his shirt and his gaze scanned over his room. "Katsuki?... You okay?"

His eyes snapped back to me, he cleared his throat and nodded. "Uh... Yeah. I'm good. Just... It's kind of weird to have you back. N-Not bad weird. Good weird..." A grin started to form on my face, I stood up. "You're still adorable when you're nervous" 

He stiffened, then he shot me a glare. "Sh-Shut up asshole..." He growled...

I chuckled quietly, because I didn't want anyone to know that Katsuki was in the room with somebody else. "So... Are we going?" I wondered, he nodded. "I'll use the window and meet you at the front gate" I said, opening the sliding door. I walked to the edge of the balcony and hopped over the side to the ground below 

My body landed with a thud and I used my Light Speed to rocket off to the entrance gate. I leaped over the wall and waited for Katsuki.

(Katsuki's POV)

I physically flinched when I saw Adrian leap off the side of the balcony. I know he can't get hurt by long falls, it's just the fact that I hope this wasn't some twisted hallucination. 

When he jumped my mind flashed to a different figure. It was Adrian from behind, but there was a thin layer of glowing light running up his left arm. A white light of holy flame shooting from his left shoulder blade. The light didn't branch over his body like his shadow. It was like white fire and mist licking up his skin. 

When I blinked, everything returned to normal.

I quickly walked out of my room and locked the door. Then I made my way downstairs. As I walked, I couldn't help feel nauseous. When I saw the class I caught a few stares. Deku had a gloomy shadow hanging over him. Icyhot was holding his hand. This time I wasn't jealous. I had Adrian, he was back and our relationship is definitely fucking better. 

As I walked for the door, I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned quickly, my eyes fierce with a glare. "Whoa... It's only me... Where are you going Bakubro?" Fucking Shitty Hair... Can't he leave me alone? "What the fuck do you want, Shitty Hair?" I sneered. "Well... Since you don't want to hang out with us and I don't think you should be alone. I decided to come with you" His voice was too chipper. "No..." I bluntly dismissed. Adrian didn't want the class to know yet. 

"Awe come on... Why can't I co-", "Fuck off already! I'm going out alone. To see someone who doesn't know you. So, piss off..." I growled, my eyes blazing with irritation. He took his hand away and frowned. "Okay... Well, see you later..." I rolled my eyes and walked away. Leaving the building without a second thought. 

I fucking know he is trying to help, but leaving me alone is helping. 

I made my way to the front gate, making sure nobody saw me reach it. 

(Adrian's POV)

I eventually saw Katsuki walk through the main gate, he looked irritated. "You okay?" I asked. He sighed, letting out his frustration. "Just Shitty Hair being annoying..." He quickly grabbed my hand and started walking. Every time I'm with him, I feel a bit guilty that I wasn't here for so long. He must've been angry that I left. 

We continued to walk down the street, I feel like we should've thought this through. I'm a dead man, with my boyfriend who just lost me a few weeks ago. This doesn't look good. My hair had now forms so that would be okay to use. I shifted into my light mode. The now short white hair, with blue highlights appeared. Along with sky/electric blue eyes. 

The city had barely changed, it only seemed a little...darker? Like it didn't hold the same amount of life as it did before. There was this low hanging anxiety in the air. My Shadow was basically in a buffet. 

"Hey, Kat..." I whispered, he hummed in response. "Is it just me or is the city on edge?" I asked with confusion. Katsuki seemed to frown, his eyes full of regret and guilt, but he quickly hid it behind a scowl. "Well, since All Might retired and...and you...Died. The world has been wondering what the hell is next" 

I nodded, I understood everything now. It was clear to me...

The walk was soon over, as we waited for at the bus stop. "Do you think I should get on the bus? They might recognise me" Katsuki agreed and we started walking away. "I think I could get there" I stated with a smirk. 

Before he could question, light pulsed around us. It seemingly coursed through him as well. How that hell am I doing this? I have no idea, but it feels so natural now. Like second nature. We shot off a lightning speeds. Racing through the fields quickly, eventually stopping in front of my house.

Katsuki was wide eyes and his hair was blown up. "What the fuck was that?" He breathlessly asked. I chuckled, "I actually have no idea. It kinda...just happened" I scratched the back of my head. "You are one odd guy sometimes" He blurted out. I snickered, "You love it..." I quipped. 

We walked up to the door, my hand reached out to knock, but my hand hesitated. I think Katsuki could see my turmoil, because he gave my hand a gentle squeeze. I looked at him, his face was full of understanding. Something you would never think to see from somebody like Katsuki. But there he was... Standing by me...

I took a deep breath to calm my emotions, I placed my shaking hand on the door. I then knocked, the sound of percussion reached my ears and echoed through the house. We waited for the door to be answered. The awkward and tense air could be cut through with a knife. The door started to be unlocked, somebody was behind the door. My jaw clenched, I was really tempted to run away, but I felt two other presences by my side. 

I knew that one of them was Shadow, but the other was new. I looked to my left to see nothing, but I just knew something was there. The door opened and I saw Nemuri. She wasn't looking at me at first, but when she looked up, her breathing hitched and her body froze. "Hey..."

Seriously... All this time and you say 'Hey'...

Unbelievable...

Her hand reached for her mouth, like she was hiding a gasp. There were tears at the corner of her eyes. "I-Is it..." I saw Katsuki step forward. "It's him..." I could feel the pain that I made her feel and she wasn't even my mother. I can only imagine how Dad and Ash feel. 

"K-Kai! C-Come to the door! Th-There is s-somebody here to s-see you!" She called out. She had a sad smile, it was filled with raw emotion. Why is everyone like this? I wanted everyone to get over my death quickly. It isn't that much of a big deal...

I heard footsteps approach from behind Nemuri. Here come the hard part. I bit my lip, my grasp on Katsuki's hand tightened. He traced circles with his thumb on my hand. Then I saw a familiar adult male, his sky blue eyes had a lack of energy and his hair was dishevelled. His beard had grown quite a lot in the past weeks. But when he laid his eyes on me, his eyes were just filled with another form of emotion. 

His gaze moved to my right, my Shadow blankly stared at him and gave him the thumbs up, while Katsuki stood in between Shadow and I. "Uh... Hey Da-" My father interrupted me with a bone crushing hug. His body was shaking. "H-How? Wha..." I wrapped my arms around him, completing the hug. I felt kind of uncomfortable, but the feeling started growing on me. "Dad... I-It's me... I'm home..." 

I can't believe I'm home...
