The dread held great depth on this night... And will continue to dig deeper for many more to come. I don't recall the total events of the night after the moment Mitsuki, the mother of Katsuki crash against the floor of the Bakugo household kitchen.

The ride over to the hospital was filled with the constant ringing that pierced the very fabric of my mind. Throughout of the ride, my eyes were glued to Mitsuki. Her pale skin, sunken eyes... With every breath she heaved a cough, at first they remained dry, raspy and cracked. Then the first cough that brought a dark, viscous liquid sprayed from her throat.

The dark liquid held similar consistency of blood but it remained blacker than night itself.

We pushed through the main doors of the hospital, the EMT's pulled Mistuki through thehospital on a mobile bed. Masaru and Katsuki ran beside, staying by Mitsuki as they disappeared through the halls while I trailed... Falling behind...

Eventually stopping in my tracks...

Katsuki, Masaru and the rest all faded into the crowds as a cold quiver ran up my spine. Turning around, I caught the eyes of him... He was wickedly smiling, hands in his pockets as his red eyes gleamed with satisfaction. I blinked and he disappeared from view. My senses returned and the ringing dulled, like muffled sound drowned under the waves of the ocean.

"Looking for somebody?" My blood ran codl as I felt his presence behind me. It was dark, mysterious and threatening. "What the fuck did you do?" The growl from my throat probably seemed animalistic, I was willing to rip the fucker's throat out. "What did I do?... No... What did you do..." His hands found purchase on my shoulders from behind.

"You handed her the glass... You weren't fast enough to protect her from the initial infectous blast" He spoke so calmly, with a familiarity that only granted additional weight. "How do I save her?"

He scoffed and started laughing, "Save her?... I'm afraid she's in it for the long game... Well, that all depends on you. Poor Mitsuki, always liked her... You can't find many people wth a perfect balance of kindness and furosity" I clenched my hands into fists, his nonchalant tone pissed me off to no end. "Damn it... Tell me what you did"

"Hmm..." He leaned close to my ear, "Again... I did nothing... This was all you" I quickly spun on my heel, ready to attack him. The man without a name but the face I have grown to hate. But by the time I had made a full 180, he was gone. "There are no strings on me..." Was the faint whisper that echoed like a symphoney before fading into the sound of reality.

I began walking towards the scent of growing death, funny beause a hospital is coated in the place. Usually making it hard to locate anything, but not today. There was something bigger. A beacon to my senses, that of which I followed through the halls. Left, right, into an elevator, moving up a floor, walking out and going down the hall.

My walk came to a complete halt as I saw Masaru sitting on a chair with his eyes fixed on the floor, Katsuki's tense form that paced back and forth, ready to scream, shout and rage... But more importantly, break down in the middle of the hospital. I gingerly began walking towards Katsuki, his quivering form was my main focus.

His fierce ruby eyes faded into a soft, weak stare that held back a dam of emotion he'd rather die before it released out in the open. "Katsuk-" The man in question snapped his gae to me with a dismissive tone, "I'm fine" He seethed. "N-No your no-"

"Adrian! I said I'm fine! Just fuck off!" He snapped, causing me to step back, caving inwards. I averted my gaze, frowning. "Right... I'll just..." I walked past him, only to take a seat away from the family members of Mitsuki. Taking a seat, my eyes focused on the ground while my alters paced around the hallway.
