(Adrian's POV)

I woke up in a cold sweat, my hands were quivering and my breath was heavy. A distinct chill ran up my spine, making me feel cold. This feeling, I have felt it once before, I just don't remember where. My eyes were instantly adjusted to the darkness in my own room, my ears receiving the soft and shallow breaths from the person that laid next to me. M gaze wandered beside me, I saw Katsuki, he was peacefully sleeping, his bare chest was seen from the lack of covers we had on from the warm weather Summer had to offer.

My heartbeat slowed down, allowing me to take a calming breath...

You alright?...

Yeah... Just...

I know... We feel it too...

I rubbed my face with my hands, taking another deep breath. Maybe I should get something to drink. My body quietly moved from the bed, making sure Katsuki wasn't woken up by my movement. I opened the door and closed it gently, Then, I made my way downstairs to the kitchen, walking down the stairs, making sure not to make much noise, especially when passing Shoji's room.

Once I was in the kitchen, I poured myself some water and started drinking, leaning on the counter. The cool liquid traveled down my throat, soothing the dryness that once encompassed it. There was a creaking from across the room, my head snapped in that direction.

I realized it was an open window and a breeze moved the curtain. What the hell made me so jumpy? I finished my water and poured another glass, leaning on the cold countertop, allowing my bare arms to feel the sensation.

There was a sound from the staircase, making me look behind me. I instantly noticed Izuku, Eijiro, Tsu, and Uraraka came wandering downstairs. They all had a determined feature resting on their faces.

They seemed to freeze at the sight of me, "Hey, guys... I'm assuming you guys didn't have a bad sleep too?"

"Uh... H-Hey, Adrian..." Eijiro muttered.

Eijiro had been quite distant, he hasn't had a smile at all times and he shows signs of stress. Every time I've asked, he refuses to say anything. To tell the truth, the four people in front of me have been acting the same. "What's going on?" I wondered. "N-Nothing... Just uh..."

"You really suck at lying. I don't even need to see your shadow" I bluntly told Izuku, he winced at my words. "Come on... Tell me. I can keep a secret..." I was mainly aiming my words at Izuku. He gulped deeply but nodded. "We sh-should just tell him..."

"B-But Deku!" Uraraka whisper yelled. "Maybe we should... Adrian is probably the only one we could tell" Eijiro interjected. Uraraka sighed and looked at me in the eyes, she knew she owed me this much. "Fine..."

"I-It's about our internships... We're going o-on a dangerous mission. To stop a g-group of people from doing some bad stuff... But...Something happened the last time we were investigating..." Izuku nervously stated.

"What happened?"

"I-I... I met two of the v-villains. Th-They were sc-scary. The main vi-villain had a little girl. B-But the oth-other one was... He was Death..." He seemed pretty shaken up just talking about the guy. When he mentioned the world death, another chill ran up my spine. "Okay... Be careful. Come back safe. I mean it..." They all nodded and walked outside the building.

I let out a sigh and leaned back on the counter top with my glass of water in hand.

Then I felt two arms snake around from behind, my body flinched but I recognised the touch. "What are you doing up at 2 in the morning?" Katsuki tiredly groaned, his head resting in the back of my left shoulder.
