Louis pov

I felt sick, so sick. it all started yesterday with a snotty nose that looked like a cold, but when I vomited that night i was sure it was something more than an innocent cold.

not that it was very bad, I'm not dying or something, I just hate to be sick, especially throwing up.

normally it wouldn't bother me much, harry is always with me when i'm sick, just not now.

he doesn't even know I'm sick. 3 days ago he went to Australia to do some work and he will be back tomorrow, so I don't see any reason to tell him.

both of us won't benefit if he takes his flight early because I'm a little sick.

I have to admit that I can be stubborn, but that's just the way I am. I sighed and took another tissue from the box next to me on the couch. the house was really chaotic. not filthy, more messy.

all around me were crumpled tissues that I wanted to clean up but just couldn't find the energy for.

on the coffee table there were a few glasses, boxes of medication and a thermometer on which I didn't even want to look.

last time it said 103.1 and let's say that even me who doesn't understand doctor stuff knows that's not too good.

I slumped further into the couch and grabbed the TV remote to zap.

the TV had been on all night because the sound distracted me from the unpleasant feeling in my stomach.

and maybe also because I couldn't get off the couch to go to bed, those sheets were spit on anyway.

I looked at the clock that said it was 1pm, harry would come home later tonight or around midnight and I was hella happy with that, even though I know he won't be too happy when he sees what I look like.

I know he thinks I'm handsome and loves me anyway, but seeing your husband sick doesn't seem like the best thing when you come back from a business trip. And he doesn't even know im sick.

i must have fallen asleep (which had happened more often in the past few days) because when i woke up it was dusk outside, i had slept really long!

I'll spare you what happened next but it had to do with vomit.

I felt weak and it just didn't seem to go away. I took some pills and swallowed them without water, would spit it out again anyways.

I felt dizzy and grabbed the sink, feeling extremely bad. Before i knew it the room was spinning and black spots appeared in front of my eyes...

Harry's pov

I came back from the businesstrip, exhausted and happy to go home. I worked pretty hard to be able to catch a earlier flight, so i could be with lou sooner.

Even tho i was gone for just a couple of days, i missed my husband like crazy. Of course we texted and called a bit, but due my busy schedule we didnt had a proper conversation so i couldn't wait to get home and cuddle my loubear.

I stepped into the house "Honey im home!" I yelled, getting no reply. Thinking he maybe didnt hear me (he always has music on) i walked to the livingroom with again, no sign of lou.

I went upstairs and just wanted to go into our room when in the corner of my eye 2 legs were seen from the bathroom. A bell rang that moment, it was louis!

I ran to him and saw him lying there unconscious, his face pale and a sweaty forehead. I saw his chest rise and sighed in relief, knowing he was alive and going to be alright.

I kneeled down and shook his upper arm, calling liam and niall, our best friends who were doctors.

They lived next door so it didnt took long before i felt a hand on my shoulder. Liam checked louis over while i was picking my shirt, panicking crazy.

"Calm down hazz he will be okay" niall whispered, rubbing my back.

"He is dehydrated and has a stomach bug, but he will be fine" liam told him when he was done checking louis over.

"He didnt told me he was sick" i said and interwined our fingers.

"Sorry about that hazz" i looked down and saw louis, a small smile on his lips.

"Ur awake!" I hugged him tight, kissing his temple.

"Im sorry i didnt told you about being ill, just didnt want you to worry" he sighed.

I made him look up at me "its alright, next time just tell me yea?"

"Deal"
