Madelaine POV I was headed to meet Travis at some coffee shop to talk about signing the divorce papers I wanted to ask Vanessa to marry but before I could I need Travis to do his part
Well I mean I could still pop the question but I don't know how much longer it would take Travis to sign the papers and I couldn't wait much longer
He says he's just not ready but we both have find someone who makes us much more happier then we ever were when we were together
"Hey Madelaine so why did you wanna meet"
"Ohh come on Travis I really need you to sign the papers so I can ask Vanessa to marry me" I said kind of frustrated
"But I'm not-Yes I know your not ready but Travis how many more months do you need you have found someone else just like me so come on and just sign them"
"I don't know I need more time" he said looking down"
"Yea yea whatever I'll give u week" and with that I walked off I can't believe this boy was the only thing in my way from stopping me from marrying the woman I loved —————————————————————- At madnessa house
"Hey babe how'd it go with Travis" I asked Madelaine as she walked into the bed room
"Uhhh mamas I just want him to sign the papers so I can be with you for the rest of my life" she said pecking my lips
"Aww come here baby I'm pretty sure he'll sign them sooner or later"
"I really hope so"
"Come take a nap u seem a little to stressed out"
"Yea your right I love you babygirl"
"I love you mi amor" Madelaine has finally drifted off to sleep so I decided to text Travis I might not show it because I know how much it stresses Madelaine out but I wish he with sign them

I felt relieved that Travis was going to sign the papers now I could be with the love of my life forever without some silly papers holding us back and hopefully now she would ask me to marry her but no rush I slowly drifted off to sleep

I woke up to an empty bed I was confused but I got up and found Madelaine in her office on her computer reading...I guess
"Hey babe why did you leave me" I asked with a pout
"Well princess I got a phone call from my lawyer telling me that Travis said he would finally sign the papers"
"about time no-butttttt it'll take some time tho" she said cutting me off
"Ughhh whyyyyyyyy"
"Because baby we have to go over some stuff with the lawyers then other things that's gonna be finalized but I promise you my love we will be together forever" she said giving me a kiss on the lips
"Ugh okay I'm hungry but I don't feel like cooking"
"Let's go to pops then"
We made it to pops and now we were just sitting and talking waiting for our food we hear the bell ring meaning just walked in and to my surprise it was Travis mad his girlfriend Amanda
"Oh Hey guys can we join you"
"Uhhhhh yea sure" Madelaine looked at me making sure I agreed I just nodded my head
"Soooo Travis I hear your finally going to sign the papers" mads asked happily
"Uhhh yea I did I realized it wasn't fair to me to hold you back from your happiness and besides I'm with Amanda"
The rest of the evening just went like this with us eating and having random conversation from time to time —————————————————————
Some months later Madelaine POV
So today was the day I asked Vanessa to marry me everything with Travis had been settled all those months ago he was happy with his girlfriend and we wasn't worried about each other any more we hardly ever spoke now So I planned to take Nessa on a picnic then pop the question
"Hey Mamas you ready for this picnic"
"Yep lets go" I don't know why I was so nervous I was just asking my Soulmate to marry me I hope I don't mess up

"Do wha- I cut her off by getting on one knee Vanessa I know we haven't been dating long but we've known each other ever since the auditions for riverdale and even then I knew I wanted to be with you your the love of my life my bestfriend my soulmate and everything else I know you are the one I want to spend my life with and have kids with I know you will make the best mommy ever so with that being said Vanessa will you make me the happiest person on earth and marry me
