Party Time

MATTIA'S POV:

I walked out of my bathroom with a towel wrapped around my waist. I didn't know where Alejandro and Kairi wanted to go this evening, so I decided to just wear a black shirt with black trousers and a gold belt, accompanied with my three gold chains.

"You ready?" asked Alejandro, bursting into my room. Luckily, I was fully clothed and just applying a cologne.

"Does no one in this house know how to knock?"

"My bad" he said. He was wearing a similar outfit to me, and I saw Kairi was too. I grabbed my phone and tucked a pocket knife into my trouser pocket. Better safe than sorry. I dialled Liv's number, if she was with me tonight then maybe I'd actually enjoy myself.

"Hey" she answered. I smiled upon hearing her heavenly voice.

"Hey, are you busy tonight?"

"Yeah, I'm meeting some friends" she said.

"Which friends?" I frowned.

"It's for math homework"

"We had homework?" I asked, looking over at my school bag that hadn't been touched for weeks. She was definitely shaking her head at me right now.

"We did, anyway I have to go" she said.

"Fineee" I groaned, hanging up the call and making my way downstairs.

"Where are you boys going?" asked Dad. I rolled my eyes and went to get my shoes, leaving Alejandro and Kairi to give him an answer.

"Just a club" said Alé quickly. I grabbed my keys and walked out the house, not paying my Dad any attention as I walked swiftly past him. I'm sure there was plenty of wedding prep going on in the house, not that I was ever informed about anything.

"There's so many fucking invitations in the kitchen" said Kairi, getting into the backseat. Alejandro glanced at me and I shrugged my shoulders.

"Too bad there's no wedding" I said, starting the engine. Alejandro gave me the address of the club we were going to.

"This place is so prestige, what's the event?" I said as I pulled out of our driveway.

"Just wanted the expensive champagne" he said, relaxing into the seat. I glanced sideways at him, becoming more and more suspicious.

We pulled up to the club and I saw there were numerous bouncers stood outside, trying to calm down a long queue of angry people. One of them saw us and stepped out of the way quickly, aggravating the crowd even more.

"Mr Polibio, enjoy your party" he said. I narrowed my eyes at him and looked at the boys.

"You didn't book out the whole club" I said, my fists turning into balls. Alejandro scratched the back of his neck and quickly pushed Kairi in front of him.

"It was his idea!" he exclaimed.

"I didn't want a fucking party!" I yelled, causing a scene. Kairi rolled his eyes and took a deep breath.

"Just go inside before the crowd attacks us" he said, walking past me and inside. I watched him in disbelief and looked back at Alé who put his hands up.

"I really did try to stop him" he said. I pinched the inner corners of my eyes and inhaled sharply.

"Let's just get it over with" said Alejandro, pushing me towards the entrance. I shrugged him off and walked inside, ignoring the bouncers who were giving me friendly smiles. The smell of booze mixed with drugs clouded my nostrils as the loud music caused my heart to pound out of my chest.

We found a booth and I sat between Kairi and Alejandro. A waiter came to take our drink order and I shrugged. I didn't wanna be here at all.

"He'll take a vodka on ice" said Alejandro, ordering the same for him and Kairi.

"Yeah cause getting wasted is your answer to everything, right? I spat. Alejandro smiled at me, showing he didn't care for my annoyance in the slightest. I shook my head as the lights went low, it was so dark I could barely make out the women coming over to us. I could only see their skimpy outfits and stiletto heels. My mouth dropped open as I looked at Kairi and Alejandro.

"You ordered fucking strippers?" I yelled over the music. Alejandro smiled at Kairi proudly, only adding insult to injury.

"What the fuck?" I shouted, punching him lightly in his shoulder. Kairi leaned forward, placing his hand on my shoulder as he screamed in my ear-

"Open your fucking eyes, Mattia"

I looked up at the woman approaching me and my eyes went wide when her face came into the light.

"Did you miss me?"
