Becoming Friends

Midoriya:

- You keep talking after he left Recovery Girl and you two mainly train together to help gain control over both of your quirks since yours is similar to his.

- You were surprised at how easily he shatters his bones and you always have to force him to take a break and help him recover so he doesn't damage his body even more.

- You help him so much that you two practically live in the infirmary and you usually go to class for him and teach him all the things he missed while he was pretty much tied down to the bed.

- You have to tie him down or he will get up and go out to the training grounds completely ignoring the ache in his body and the fact that he broke everything earlier that day.

- When he isn't completely incapacitated though you guys stick together in class and help each other study in the library and you are shocked at how little he knows about so many courses.

- "Izuku?! How the hell have you managed to get by so far?! I mean I get it if you don't understand the subject but you don't know anything. I mean that in the best possible way but seriously how are you still passing?!"

- "I-I don't know. I've just been so focused on training my quirk that I just haven't had time to study unless I'm with you. So I at least get some kind of information before I go into big tests."

- "Then how have you been able to get actually decent grades? Even though we do study a lot we don't go over nearly enough for you to get as high marks as you do."

- "Well, since I tend to overanalyze heroes and their tendencies I'm able to put that knowledge to use and combined with lucky guessing as well as your help I get at least a few decent scores so they still keep me around."

- You stare at him in shock because you still have no idea how he managed to get by because lucky guessing would not manage to get him an almost perfect score.

- It takes you a few minutes to process the information he tells you and he gets a little nervous that something may be broken in your head because you've been staring at him for quite a while.

- You make him study at least three times a week on his own after that no matter how many times he complains or wants to continue to train because him training his quirk isn't going to do anything if he gets expelled because his academics are lacking.

- He doesn't complain that much mainly because the first few times he tried to leave his independent study session he got a call from you less than three minutes later telling him to get back to work so he didn't try to escape again.

- He just got freaked out by the fact that you seem to have a weird sense that let you know when he wasn't studying so he kept his mouth shut and didn't complain nearly as much as he did initially.

- He tries to bribe you though and beg you to just let him take a break and he will end up sending you long voicemails begging you to pick up the phone just to acknowledge that he's at his desk studying as you asked him to.

- You know he's studying because you practically chained him to his chair and you know he can't really break out of them without using his quirk so unless he wants to get cornered by you in the infirmary he's going to study for the few hours you ask him to.
