Rocky"Why would you say that?" Hilary said as she paced back and forth. "They were threatening you!" I countered. "Did she say that, or did you just jump to conclusions?" She asked me. Technically Maja didn't say she was going to fight Hilary, I did.
Because I just assumed that Maja was going say I spoke out of term. Now Reggie and J.J. are the only two people willing to talk to me.
"Baby I know you want to protect me. Especially with all the threats, I've gotten this year. I get it, but Maja has every right not to want anything to do with me. My father and brother assaulted her—fathered her children. My family has taken so much from her. Her reasoning is valid." Hilary said.
I wiped my hand over my face. "I fucked up," I said. "You have to make it right. They are more than just your friends. They are your family and when you find good people like them you don't lose them." She said. I dropped my head feeling ashamed of myself.
Angelo
It was Thursday night and the guys, and I were hanging out in the living room playing cards trying to catch up on what happened this week. "I know it's y'all aren't really fucking with him, but Rocky would like to apologize," Reggie said. Haseem, Omar, and I glanced at him.
"I'm good," I said. "Pass," Haseem said. "Me too." Omar chimed in. "He fucked up one time—" "He disrespected my wife. Not my girlfriend. Not my baby mama. Not some woman I'm just fucking, but my wife. The same woman he claimed was like a sister to him. The same woman who does anything for any of you. And he did while sitting in my house eating my food. For a woman, he's known for a couple of months." I said shaking my head.
"He can go fuck himself and taking whatever fuck ass apology he has with him. I've said it before I will say it again. I will never let anyone hurt Maja, ever." I finished my statement.
"And I agree with Angelo. Maja has been there for each of us in some way or another. She has helped me through so much shit and when I say she's like a sister to me. I mean I consider her my sister and I'll be damned if I let anybody disrespect my family." Omar said.
"I understand you two may want to help get him out this, but he said what he said. Even when we were questioning him for clarification, he still stood behind what he said. And for me—as someone who's seen Maja at her lowest, who had to help bring her back—" Haseem paused.
"He's lucky he was able to walk out the house untouched," Haseem said. Reggie and J.J. looked at us and you could see the realization wash over their faces.
It was one thing for Omar and myself to be done but for Haseem to be as well they knew there was no coming back. "I see," J.J. said. "You two are my boys. You're like my brothers but if bring that man up to me again there will be a problem." I said as I laid a card down.

It was Saturday morning, and I was at the barbershop waiting for Dem to get a haircut. I had taken Nicky with use and I had him strapped to my chest. "What's Angelo?" I looked up seeing Black. I nodded over at him and Dem and I sat down.
"Is this your other little man?" He asked me as some of the other people in the shop walked over to me. I smiled. "Yeah, this is Nicky," I said. He was half awake at this point. "Tae told me you and Maj had twins." Another barber, Corey said. I nodded my head. "Teddy, he's at home," I told him.
"I bet Maj was shook when y'all found out?" Corey said. I laughed. "Absolutely. She just kept saying 'twins' over and over." I joked. "Alright, Dem let's take care of this head," Black said. Dem hopped up walking over to his chair.
