I was sitting in my therapist's office and a few weeks back I had to get a new one because my original one moved. "How have you been Angelo?" Dr. Arthur asked. "I know I haven't been in the last couple of appointments, but a lot has happened." I began. "Like what?" He asked. "I got married," I said. "Oh wow. Congratulation, this was too your college sweetheart, right?" He asked. I nodded my head smiling. "Yeah She told me she was pregnant, and we figured why wait," I said. "You're marrying and having a baby, that is amazing." Dr. Arthur said. "Yeah," I said. "Why did your voice drop?" He asked. "My wife has passed the point where we lost our first child. Which is amazing. Seeing all the effects of pregnancy take place is a beautiful thing to see." I explained.

"But?" He asked. "But everything has been going too well. Like I'm waiting for something bad to happen." I said. He nodded his head. "That's normal. However, you can't allow yourself to be frozen in fear because you'll miss out on all the good things that are happening to you. Until we meet again, I want you to practice being in the moment. Feel all the emotions that present themselves. Journal them and at our next meeting we can discuss them." He said. I nodded my head. "There is something else," I mumbled.

"What?" he asked. "I've been lying to my wife." I said. "How do?" "I promised her I would stop fighting and technically I haven't." I said.

Maja

"Why aren't you dressed?" Gelo asked coming out of the bathroom looking at me

"Why aren't you dressed?" Gelo asked coming out of the bathroom looking at me. "I don't want to do this. I love Rocky but I swore to never have anything to do with those people. They tormented me most of my childhood." I said. We were expected to have dinner with Rocky and his girlfriend who we still didn't know which one of my stepsisters she was. "If you don't want to go we don't have to," Gelo said. I dropped my head in my hands. "Baby what's wrong?" He asked kneeling in front of me. "I hate letting people down," I mumbled. "You're not. There's a very sensitive history between y'all and you not wanting to deal with them is well within your right." He comforted before my phone started ringing.

"We're leaving n—." Arnell paused when she heard me sniff. "Maj, what's wrong?" She asked. "I don't want to go," I mumbled. "Then don't. I'd rather you stay home than be anywhere you aren't comfortable with. "That's what I told her but she thinks she'll be letting Rocky down." Angelo chimed in. "Maj Rocky will understand. You're a big ball of hormonal feels. He won't be mad if you don't come." Nell said. "You stay home and snuggle up with Sami and Dem and I'll go. And then—" "Angelo, Nadia, and I can tell you all the details after." Nell suggested. I looked at Angelo and smiled kissing my forehead. "I'll order y'all some food before I go." He said standing and grabbing his phone.
