Angelo

It had been a little over 2 months since the twins were born and whenever I thought I had the hang of taking care of my sons they did something new. "Shh, you're going to wake Gelo and mama up." I heard Sami say. I heard chuckling to my left.

I raised my head to see MJ standing in the doorway of the bathroom in one of my shirts as she brushed her teeth with one hand and held Nicky with the other. "Good morning." She said as she met my eyes. "How do you look so well rested while I feel like shit?" I asked. "Because you refuse to let me get up and help at night." She said.

"You already take care of the boys during the day I can handle the nights," I told her. "Angelo—" "Nope," I said shaking my head before Nicky squealed. "See the kid agrees with me. That's our father-son time." I said as I sat up.

I smiled as Nicky turned and looked at me and a smile spread across his face. "You want to go to daddy?" MJ asked him as she kissed his cheek. He turned and looked at his mom and an even bigger smile spread across his face before he pressed his face into her chest.

MJ looked at me with large eyes. "Awww." She cried out cradling his head. He turned and looked at me smiling. "Where's the mean one?" I asked as I stood taking Nicky from her. "He was still sleeping." She said. I grabbed the monitor seeing Teddy was now up.

She came out of the bathroom after rinsing her mouth before taking Nicky once again. "And stop calling Teddy mean." She said flicking my nose. "He is mean. That little boy smacked me the other day." I said. MJ laughed shaking her head. "You saying his little hand did some damage to you, hmm?" She questioned. "Yes," I said. "Oh you big baby." She laughed shaking her head as she walked out of the room.

After freshening up I headed downstairs to see my boys all spread across the living room. "What are y'all doing here so early?" I asked. "Y'all are the hangout spot," Omar said as he held Nicky. "And who agreed to that?" I asked. "We all came to that agreement when you got this big ass tv," J.J. said.

I gave him a sarcastic laugh before I sat down. "So, what's up with the Rossi's?" Reggie asked. "Yeah, we need updates on keeping up with the Rossi's," Haseem said holding Teddy. I chuckled. I glanced over at MJ before leaning in. "I have a surprise for MJ," I said with a yawn.

They all glanced over at the women who were in the kitchen fawning over Marquise. "What is it?" Omar asked. "I want to take her out on a date." I shrugged. "It's been a while and I love my boys, but I need some—"

"Sometimes alone with mama," Reggie said. We all chuckled. I nodded my head. "Exactly," I said.

"I can babysit," Omar said. One by one we all turned to look at him. "What?" He asked as he looked around. "You want to take care of 3 possibly 4 if Sami doesn't go with Dimitri, kids?" Rocky asked. "Well, we would all be there," Omar said. "See now," J.J. said.

I chuckled. "I'll remember that for next time, but my parents are going to watch them," I said. "Okay, but what are you going to do for this date night?" Haseem asked me. I smiled. "I have some ideas," I said.

I was sitting on the counter with Sami sitting in my lap. I was rubbing circles on her back as I talked with my sisters and Toya. "Dem?" I called. "Yes, ma'am?" He called as he came into the kitchen. "You okay in there?" I asked.

"Yeah, I'm just watching tv." He said. I nodded my head. "Sami, you want to go in the other room with your brother?" I asked her. "Okay." She mumbled. I sat her down on the ground and watched as they walked off to the other room. "Maj your mom radar is on 10," Nell said. I chuckled.
