Angelo

I was standing in MJ's old bedroom that she had at her mom's place. I had convinced Maja to come to Ms. Jackie's Christmas party however when we got here Ms. Jackie suggested we all spend the night like they used to. Maja immediately said no because she didn't like a few of her family members.

So instead, I suggested that if things got to be too much for her, we could leave and head over to my people's place a little early. I honestly just wanted the kids to get some time with their extended family.

When MJ said she had a big family she wasn't lying. I had spent the first 2 almost 3 hours being introduced to grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. I had stepped away to catch my breath and I ended up in MJ's room to take a breather from all the people. I walked over to a collage of pictures that were hanging up on the wall. They were pictures of Maja, her siblings, and other people that had been in her life from when she was a teenager. I smiled as I looked at them.

"See I told you my family can be a lot. They got you in here hiding." Mj said as she wrapped her arms around me. "I'm not hiding. I'm just taking a break, looking at your pictures." I told her pointing at the wall. "Oh wow." She laughed as she looked at the pictures too. "Is that Tae?" I asked as I pointed at one.

She giggled

She giggled. "Yeah, he and Sami were joined at the hip when she was a baby. I'd wake up and they'd already be out together." She explained with a soft smile. I laughed as my eyes scanned the wall before landing on a specific picture.
