It had been a week since Christoph was sentenced to 35 years in prison with an addition of 15 years for bribing state officials and fraud. The judge also ordered that Maja would receive 94,710 in back child support plus an additional 15,785 a month in child support, which she would receive from Christoph's business accounts. The D.A.'s office is also going after Richard as being one of the ringleaders behind everything.

"Mama where are we going?" Sami asked once again from the backseat. Angelo chuckled while I rolled my eyes. "Sami, I told you we're going to go meet someone," I said once again. "I know but who?" She asked. "You'll find out when we get where we're going," I said as I turned to look at her. "And if you ask another question Angelo will turn this car around and we'll go home," I said. Her mouth immediately closed and pouted formed. I chuckled. "I promise you'll love it okay," I told her. She sighed before nodding her head. Sami hated surprises just like I did but I honestly didn't know how she was going to react to meeting her brother.

I knew Demery was excited to meet her. I just want everything to go as smoothly as possible. Angelo laced our fingers together before kissing the back of my hand. I looked at him and he gave me a reassuring smile. I smiled back before looking out the window.

We drove awhile longer before we pulled up in front of a two story. I got out while Angelo helped Sami out of the car. He picked her up and I walked over to them grabbing her hand. "Sami how would you feeling I told you that you have a little brother?" I asked her. "Is he going to leave like Eva?" She asked. "No," I said. "Is he in your stomach too?" She asked, and I couldn't speak. "No, he's here," Angelo answered for me as the front door opened and Demery ran to us. "Hi, mama." He said happily. "Hi, sweetheart," I said hugging him. Angelo put Sami down and she looked at Demery. "Sami this is Demery. Demery this is Sami." I said looking at the both of them. "Hi, Sami!" Demery said excitedly. Sami looked at me. "Say hi," I said. Sami walked up to him and stared at him before she smiled. "Hi, Demery!" She sang. I let out a sigh of relief.

"Why did you let Richard see Demery?" I asked her. "He said if we didn't let him see his son he'd seek full custody and after everything you've told us we knew he would, and he would win." I nodded my head as understanding. "I understand and thank you for let's come by Mrs. Brenda," I said hugging Demery's adoptive mom. "Of course, the more family the better." She said smiling. I turned to see Sami and Demery talking Angelo's ear off.

After we ate, and I tucked Demery into bed the two of us said our goodbye since Sami had fallen asleep. "Now you make sure you all stop by anytime," Arthur said hugging me. I chuckled. "Of course, we'll yall soon," I said as I grabbed Angelo's had as he held Sami. We got situated in the car before Angelo drove off. "See that wasn't bad at all," Angelo said laughing. "I know I was just nervous. With everything changing so quickly I don't want to confuse Sami. Then now everyone knows about Dem I don't want him to grow up and feel like I just tossed him to side but I kept Sami. Out of all of this I really just want to make sure those two are protected." I said pausing. "And they are. All I saw today was two happy siblings," Angelo said. I loved that he always knew exactly what to say to calm me down.

"And you?" I asked. "What about me?" He said glancing over at me. "I have two kids by two psychopaths and we lost our baby and you've officially heard all my deep dark secrets," I said as dramatic as I possibly could. "Well for one I love your kids. They're just as goofy as you. Two fuck both of those bitches. Christoph is not Sami's father and Richard sure as hell isn't Demery's father. As for your secrets, there's nothing you could tell me that would change the way I feel about you." He said taking my breath away. "Maja, I love you." He said pulling my hand to his lips before giving it a squeeze. I fell silent as we continued our ride home.
