Angelo

I was sitting in a conference meeting and I couldn't help but look at Maja as she took notes. She looked at Damon before she glanced my way freezing before looking away. I raised an eyebrow before turning my attention back to Damon. "So. if that's all this meeting is over." He said. Everyone slowly stood and made their way out of the room, Maja included. "What's up with Maja? Didn't you fix things with her?" He asked. "Yeah, we came in together. We were good until she came in here." Damon looked at me confused.

"Well go figure out what happened between the two of you getting here and this meeting." He ordered. I looked at him with a raised eyebrow. "What? I like Maja. She's funny." He said with a shrug before walking out of the room. I laughed before walking to my office. I grabbed my phone and called Maja. "Maja speaking how can I help you?" She said happily. "Miss. Lewis can you come to my office now." I said. The line got so quiet I thought she hung up.

"Maja?" "I have a lot of work to catch up on." She stumbled out making me even more suspicious. "You can do it after. I need to speak with you." She sighed. "Yes, Mr. Rossi." She said before hanging up. Several minutes later there was a knock on. "Come in," I said before the door opened and Maja walked in. "You wanted to see me." She said standing in front of my desk. "Is everything okay?" I asked as I moved to lean on the front of my desk.

"I'm fine." She said quickly. I grabbed her hand and pulled her into my arms. "You said we would talk to each other when we're feeling overwhelmed. So, talk to me." I said. She stared at me before sighing. "You were right." She started. "What?" I asked confused. "I wasn't ready to come back." She said rubbing her stomach. I chuckled. "You want to go home?" She looked at me. "Are you sure because if you need me..." "If you're not feeling good then you should go home." She gave me a shy smile before kissing my cheek. "Wait, here." She looked at me surprised.

"Does this mean I get to drive your baby?" She asked with a big smile. I gripped my keys tightly before handing them to her. "I trust you." She hugged me before she rushed out of the room making me laugh.

Maja

I was sitting in Angelo's car on three-way with my sisters. "Okay, what's wrong?" Nadia asked. "My period," I said. "Maja really? There are extra pads under the cabinet." They laughed. "I'm late," I whispered. "Mj did you say something?" Arnell asked. "I'm late," I said. "What?" Nadia said. "Oh bitch. Where are you?" Arnell asked. "I'm heading to my doctor." "No come get us and we'll go with you," Nadia said.

I was sitting in the doctor's office with my hands covering my eyes. "You have your daughter, your friends and family, an amazing job, a man who is completely in love with you," Arnell said. "Angelo is in love with you and you're in love with him. This pregnancy is only going to make you love each other more." Nadia said. We had just found out that I was, in fact, one month pregnant. "I'm not ready for another kid. I just got the hang of taking care of Sami." I said as the three of us laughed.

"Let's get some food my treat," Arnell said. I nodded my head before I changed and we left.

"I can't believe Angelo let you drive his monster truck," Nadia said. "He said he trusts me." They froze and stared at me before looking at each other smiling. "Speaking of Angelo how are you going to tell him?" Arnell asked. "I don't know. When it came to Sami, Dimitri kind of told me. He told me he noticed that I hadn't asked him to pick up any pads and soon enough we found I was pregnant." I said with a shrug. They laughed. "That was cute," Arnell said. Arnell and Nadia love babies so I knew they were excited about our family's new edition.

"I don't think I'm ready for this," I said as I stopped eating. "Why? You're amazing with Samiya." Nadia said. "But two kids by two different men. I feel like..." "Don't you dare say it. There is nothing wrong with having kids by two different men." Nadia said. "You were young when you had Sami. You made a mistake that resulted in the birth of your beautiful baby girl. Now you're grown and mature and you've found a wonderful man that is in love with you. I'm not telling you what to do with this baby, but you are ready." Arnell said rubbing my back.

"Besides before you do anything you should talk to Angelo." Nadia chimed in. I nodded my head. "You're right."

Angelo

Almost 2 weeks later

I sighed as I finished the last of my work. I quickly packed up my things and headed downstairs and to my car. As I was driving home I couldn't help but think about Maja. Something had been bothering Maja for the past couple of weeks. As I was stuck in my thoughts my phone began to ring. I looked to see it was Maja. "Hello," I said. "Um, can we talk, now or later is fine." She asked hesitantly.

"Sure, is everything okay?" I asked growing more concerned than I already was. "Yes, I'm good. We just need to talk. I can meet you at your house if you want?" She asked. "Of course. I'm heading home now." I said trying to think what she could possibly have to say. "Okay good. See you when you get here." She said before she hung up.

I got out of my car and headed inside only to hear Maja talking to herself from the living room. "This is so corny. Arnell, I can't do this." She whined as she talked on the phone. "You can't do what?" I asked making my presence known. She jumped as she turned ending the call. "Do you know how rude it is to sneak up on someone?" She questioned with her hands on her hips.

I chuckled. "Can't sneak up on you when you're in my house." She rolled her eyes. "How long were you standing there?" I shrugged. "Not long at all," I said taking my jacket off laying it on the back of the couch as I walked around to see what looked like a jewelry box sitting on the couch. She scratched her head nervously. "Are you okay? You've been acting weird lately and I'm starting to get worried." She looked at me as she played with her fingers.

"I...I...." She froze. "Here, don't open until I'm gone, okay." She said handing me the jewelry box. I looked at her confused before nodding my head. She grabbed my hand and I walked her to the door. "Are you sure everything is okay?" I asked her again. "I promise I'm okay. Don't forget what I said. Call me after." She said looking at me with a glow on her face. She caressed my cheek before she stood on her tippy toes and kissed me.

After I took a shower, ate, and threw on some shorts I walked back into my room to see the box Maja gave me sitting on my bed. I sat down grabbing it before I opened it. I looked at it confused. Inside sat a sealed pregnancy test, an ultrasound picture, and a note. I picked up the picture to see my last name written on the bottom.

Baby Rossi
1 month and 2 weeks

I looked at the note before I laughed.

I guess daddy really is your name now.
