Elaina

"Maja you can't do that. She's my daughter too and if I want to bring Sami around Elaina I will." Dimitri said. "So, what was all that shit you were saying about, 'if you don't feel comfortable with her around Sami then they won't meet'?" Maja countered. "That was when I thought you would give her a chance." He said. "Do you really want to try me on this? Do you really want to have this fight with me?" Maja asked. "Do you want to try me on this? Do you really want to lose another daughter?" He said. I watched as Maja's eyes widened in shock before tears pooled in her eyes. Dimitri looked just as shocked. "Maja I...." "I'll meet you at the car." She said trying to hold back her tears, but her voice broke at the end.

Dimitri turned to look at Angelo who was now standing, silent as he stared him down. "Angelo I..." Before he could start Angelo punched him in the mouth. Dimitri covered his mouth, but Angelo wasn't done. He punched him again and again with the last punch sending him to ground with what sounded like a broken nose. Angelo picked up a napkin wiping Dimitri's blood from his knuckle. "If you ever mention my daughter again I promise you'll be breathing with the help of a machine." He said running his fingers through his hair before he threw down some cash to pay for his and Maja's food. I was shocked at how his demeanor changed from how he is at work. "And I dare you to threaten Maja again," Angelo said before he tossed the napkin on Dimitri before he walked out.

I rushed over to Dimitri helping him sit up using the napkin to help him stop the bleeding. "Fuck!!" He yelled." I'm sorry but I'm going to have to ask both of you to leave." The waiter said. I helped Dimitri up and we walked out to the car. I drove him to the doctor, so they could look at his nose. After the nurse took some x-rays she left us alone. "What the hell was that?" I asked. He sighed as he laid back staring at the ceiling. "They had miscarriage almost a month ago." He said. "So, when you said she would lose another daughter..." I trailed.

"Why on earth would you throw that in her face?" I asked. Honestly, I didn't feel too bad. If anything, it made her seem less perfect but I couldn't help think about Angelo. The way he snapped like that was sexy. I taken out of my thoughts when Dimitri spoke again. "I know I fucked up." He said.

Maja

"He what?" Nadia asked. "I'm gone beat his ass," Arnell said. "Angelo already did," I said. "He broke his nose," I said smiling as I remembered the story he told me early this morning. "My nigga," Arnell said. "Where is Angelo?" Arnell asked before we both glanced at Nadia who looked away. "He's not avoiding you," I said quickly. "Sure." She said. "He's not. His parents wanted to talk to him." I added. "So, what was the other news you had to tell us?" Nadia asked to change the story. "So, remember when I told you what dad said?" I asked. "Yeah." "Well..." I turned the tv on and front and center was Christoph's arrest. "Uncle Dre arrested Christoph last night," I said. "He's going to jail, then?" Arnell asked. "Hopefully but he said when the time comes I might have to testify against him," I explained. "Well serves his ass right," Nadia said.

"There's one more thing," I said. "What?" Arnell asked. "Angelo asked me to move in." I blurted out. "Oh my god," Nadia said. "Did you say yes? Please tell me you said yes." Arnell asked. "I did. Which means I'm going need your help packing?" I said. "Of course. I can't believe you're moving out." Nadia said. "We've never lived apart." She added. It was true once Nell and Nadia hit college they roomed together. Then our dad got us an apartment the summer after I graduated. We always lived with each other no matter what, but we were grownups now and things are changing.

"Well, it's not like I won't be around bothering you two. Plus, I have to spoil my little niece or nephew." I said as we laughed.

Angelo

I was at my therapist office waiting to be called back. "Angelo?" I looked up seeing Dr. Julia. "So how have you been? How's Maja and the baby?" I asked. I hadn't been back since I told her Maja was pregnant. I cleared my throat before I looked up at her. "A couple weeks ago Maja was in a car accident," I said. Julia looked at me shocked. "She's fine now, but there were some complications with her and the baby." I continued. "The baby didn't make it," I said only slightly above a whisper.
