Omniscient

Maja was sitting with Nadia in the living room freaking out. "God, why did I listen to you two. I should have just told him but no I had to be all sentimental and romantic and shit." Maja cried as she paced back and forth. "Maja calm down." Nadia pleaded. "He might be eating or showering. Hell, he could even be taking a shit." She said as they both froze looking at each other before they both laughed.

"What if he doesn't want anything to do with the baby?" Maja said leaning on her big sister. "Maja." She said. "What it could happen? He could say fuck that and run. He's done it before." Maja mumbled before she leaned her head on Nadia's shoulder as she rubbed her little sister head. Maja sighed before she got up. "I'm going to head to bed. Goodnight." She said as she got up.

While everyone in the Lewis household was heading to bed, Angelo was staring at the ultrasound picture. He was still sitting in the same place on his bed before he stood grabbing his jacket and rushed out to his car. Maja was sleeping when the doorbell rang. She groaned rolling over covering her head only to hear the bell again. She whined realizing neither of her sisters were going to get up. "Heavy ass sleepers," Maja mumbled as she got up and answered the door. "What the fuck do you want?" Maja barked rubbing her eyes.

When she didn't hear a response, she looked up to see Angelo standing there. "Angelo." She said covering her stomach unintentionally. He moved her hands and looked down at her stomach. He looked down at her seeing a terrified look on her face. "Maja... How long?" He asked. "I'm about six weeks now." She whispered. They stared at each other for a while before he walked towards her. "I found out a couple weeks ago and I've been trying to figure out how to tell you. The box thing was corny. I shouldn't have listened to my sis...." "We're having a baby." He said pulling her into his arms spinning her around before kissing her repeatedly. "We're having a baby." She repeated giggling as she looked at him. "So, you're happy?" She asked looking at him.

"Of course, I am. Did you think I wouldn't be?" She looked away. "No. Maybe a little. I was just a little nervous." She said rubbing her stomach. "God, I'm going to be a daddy," Angelo said in disbelief as he looked at her stomach. She took his hands and placed them on her stomach. "Have you told anyone else?" Angelo asked as they sat down. "My sisters." She said making them both laugh

Angelo

Maja and I were sitting on the couch talking. "So that stomach bug was actually just morning sickness?" I asked. "Yeah. I just thought I was sick because I didn't get morning sickness with Samiya." She said before we fell silent. I started laughing and she looked at me like I was crazy. "What's so funny?" She asked. "Had it not been for Professor Day you probably never would have given me the time of day," I said looking at her. "Well, I just wanted to let you know that I have a doctors appointment tomorrow. If you wanted to come." She said looking at me with a smile. "Of course I wouldn't miss it," I said. "Great." She said with a smile. I couldn't help but stare into her eyes. I was so enchanted with her and the fact that she was giving me my first child.

"Are you okay?" She asked touching my arm as she let out a yawn. "I should go and let you get some sleep." She nodded her head. "You can spend the night if you want." She said as she got up. I stood following her to her room. We climbed into bed and I wrapped my arm around her pulling her into my arms. "Goodnight, beautiful," I said kissing her neck.

I woke up the next day with Samiya drinking a juice box as she stared at me. "Good morning, Sami," I said with a smile. She tilted her head before speaking. "My mama likes you a lot." She said. I sat up looking at her curiously. "What makes you say that?" I asked. "Because my mama has been happy since you've been back." She smiled. "You're pretty smart for a six-year-old," I said poking her stomach making her giggle. "I know." She said as she ran off right before Maja walked in dressing for work. "You should get dressed it's almost nine." She said as she sat at her vanity and began doing her hair.

I walked into the living room to see Maja talking with Sami as she messed with her hair. "Girl, why do you have so much hair?" I heard Maja say making Sami laugh. "You two ready?" I asked finally making my presence know. "Yes," Samiya said cheerfully. She ran over to her backpack and quickly put it on. Maja stood grabbing her bag and walked over to Sami and I couldn't help but stare at them. i could real get used to be a family guy. I thought to myself. "Angelo are you ready?" Maja asked knocking me out of my thoughts. "Yeah let's go." I helped Sami into the car before opening Maja's door. "Thank you." She said before climbing in. I walked around to the driver side before pulling off. "Sami don't forget daddy's going to pick you today," Maja said. "I know, mama." "Are you excited to spend the week with daddy?" Maja asked.

I chuckled as she began talking about all the things she and Dimitri were going to do. We pulled up to her school and Maja helped her out of the car. "Come on Gelo." She said when she realized I hadn't moved. I got out and grabbed her hand and we all walked in. Once Sami was situated Maja gave her a tight hug and a kiss on the cheek. "By Gelo." She said with a smile. I squatted down to her level and hugged her. "I'll see you later short stack," I said poking her stomach making her giggle.

I was sitting in my office when the door opened. I glanced up before doing a double take. "Mama?" I said standing up walking towards her. "Maja Penelope Marie Lewis." She snapped looking at me with her hands on her hips. My eyes widened. "Is Angelo back?" She asked walking closer. I opened my mouth to speak. "Shut up." She snapped. "Have you been seeing him?" She asked. "I..." I said opening my mouth again. "Girl you better shut up." She said pointing at me. I huffed but sat quietly. "Please tell me that you did not let that little boy who left you without so much as a goodbye come back into your life and get you pregnant." She said looking directly at me.

After everything happened with Richard, Keenan, and then Angelo my mama was not with any type of shit. She felt like she dropped the ball when it came to me, so she had become very protective of me. I looked away from my mama seeing a mixture of disappointment and sadness. Before either of us could speak my door open. "Maja did you get those files for the..." Angelo paused seeing my mother standing there. "Ms. Lewis." He started before she held her hand up. "We will discuss this later." She said before walking out. I looked at Angelo before dropping my head. "If my mom kills me it's on you," I said. "What happened?" Angelo asked. "Arnell or Nadia must have told my mom that you were back and that I'm pregnant," I said with a sigh.

"And that's bad because?" He asked. I looked at him. "Because my mama hates you," I said as he looked at me rubbing the back of his neck. I sighed. "Once you tell a mother about someone who did their kid wrong there's no going back. That person is basically dead to them until proven otherwise. As for my mama, she hates you and she wants your blood." I said. He nodded his head. "I see." "Exactly and now she wants to talk to me about it." I rolled my eyes. "I can come with you." He offered. I chuckled shaking my head. "My mama doesn't like you right now, so I don't think that would be such a good idea," I said truthfully.

"Plus, she's taken up boxing and if she decides to kick your ass I'm not going to stop her," I said with a shrug. "Damn it's like that?" He said laughing as he walked towards me. I shrug as he wrapped his arms around me. "I guess I'd deserve it, huh?" He said looking down at me before lightly pecking my lips. "Mr. Rossi this is very inappropriate to do at work," I said making him smile. "I won't tell if you won't." I laughed as he stole another kiss before he ran off.
