"What did you think he would be like? Elaborate." She said smiling as she leaned on her desk. I took a sip of my water before I answered. "But the more I've gotten to know him the more I realized that I was wrong." "What!?" Nadia, Haseem, Rocky, and J.J. all said. I sucked my teeth. "I can't stand yall. I swear." They laughed along with professor Day.

The subject was quickly changed and I zoned out until the end of class. "Maja! Nadia!" I stopped walking and turned seeing Arnell with Micah. "Behave," Nadia said. I rolled my eyes. "What's up?" I asked. "Lunch?" I smiled. "Sure." Nadia and I said happily "Plus one?" Micah asked. I opened my mouth to speak when Nadia covered it. "Sorry, Micah we need some sister time." He laughed looking at us. "Alright, I'll see you tomorrow baby." Arnell smiled before Micah walked off.

My sisters and I were at lunch when Haseem, Omar, and Angelo came into the café and sat down. "Hey, guys," Nadia said with her usual smile. Haseem hugged us all as did Omar. Nadia chimed. Everyone agreed before looking at me. "I'm in," I said. As we finished our lunch I left and headed out to the courtyard. I took a seat out in the grass before opening my notes. "So how long have you and Angelo been fucking?" My head shot up to see Omar sitting across from me smiling.
