My name is Virgil Vesper Melentha and I am part of the Storm Royal Line. I inherited my parents ability of control over Storms and Lightning. My powers hurt people

My older sister Venus "Val" Naamah Melentha is just like my cruel parents. She is a prodigy of her "gift" while I am too scared to use mine

My powers currently only show when I'm anxious, a storm brews above me and gets bigger when my anxiety skyrockets

Val and I attend Royale Academy, a prestigious school for the 5 main Magic Lines. The students can only be a part of The Storm Line, The Snake Line, The Fire Line, The Knowledge Line, and the Heart Line

My best friend is named Janus Nagendra Drake, he is a Shapeshifter and part of the Snake Line who inherited his ability like everyone else here. He has a lying streak and will kill for a bottle of wine. He also doesn't like it when we steal his bowler hat

Roman Richard Simmons, part of the Famous Fire Lineage, is my boyfriend. He's sweet and a bit of a dork but I love him regardless. He is also a hopeless romantic himbo of a man and will reference Theatre any chance he gets

His twin brother Remus Abbadon Simmons sometimes crashes our dates, we find it annoying but that's what normal siblings do I guess. He has the polar opposite personality of Roman by being absolutely gross and disgusting yet they share the himboness

I hate to admit it but I'm very jealous of the twins, they have a loving family meanwhile I'm stuck with 3 terrible people

Then we have Patton Felix Rina, Janus's crush since forever and my stand in Father Figure. He has Emotion Manipulation abilities hence being a member of the Heart Line. Their powers can be used for both good and evil, Patton is the most friendliest guy on the planet so it's obvious which side he uses it for

Finally we have Logan Hugo Kendry, or as everyone else in our circle except for Patton calls him, a Nerd. He has infinite intelligence as his powers so he's very smart and logical due to being part of the Knowledge Line. He claims to have no guilty pleasure but I once caught him shoving Crofters in his face while binge watching Sherlock Holmes and DoctorWho

So here we are now, I got a note in my locker from Roman to meet him underneath the bleachers aka our normal spot after school hours

I came early as usual, my paranoia keeps me from tardiness everywhere I go

Only something made our bleacher date suspicious, I could hear faint lightning crackle from above

I brushed it off as I waited and waited for Roman until I heard a very familiar voice
