Prinxiety Oneshots 2

-Birthday-

Today is Romans birthday. Virgil planned everything to happen later when it's just the two of them

It was kinda suspicious since when Roman walked downstairs, Patton and Logan waved and said hello but there was no Happy Birthdays

Roman received a mug of Green Tea and waited for Virgil to come downstairs. He did after a few minutes, kissing the Birthday Boys cheek and got a cup of coffee

Roman kept thinking about the sides forgetting his birthday. The Prince loved when things were about him so his friends and especially his boyfriend not acknowledging it was weird

Breakfast was over so the sides went to their own devices, Logan immediately went to his room to be productive for the day. Patton stayed downstairs after waking up Thomas and giving Janus and Remus homemade pancakes

Virgil went to his room to plan and make sure that everything for Romans special day is all set and ready

Roman went to the Imagination to maybe create more things or just hang out in his castle. He decided to go to the castle but when he got there, a wall of purple Lightning Bolts was around the perimeter which wasn't letting Roman go inside

The Prince then pulled out his sword, walking to a small forest area to practice for his next quest. The action made him remember his training with D.W. The sword he had on him was even made by her magic and received the name of Kings Legacy

D.W. Yes that's perfect, Roman stopped doing stuff with his sword and walked to her cave. He traced over the vine and flower designs on her door for a second, then Roman knocked on it, seeing the scaled face of his childhood friend

Hey D.W

Hi, come in and I'll tell a little something about tonight

Roman nods but was confused about what was happening tonight. D.W lead him to her cauldron and poured in a purple liquid. With her wand, she stirred the concoction until it turned into a looking glass thing

It showed a list written in purple pen detailing everything that Virgil planned for tonight. The mocumentary camera panned over to a satisfied Virgil looking like he has got everything under control

Then of course with him being Anxiety, it spiked and made him worry about everything going wrong. As such, faint lighting struck over his head. It started to get more prominent until Roman could hear Virgil say that his plan would go well, it's taking place in the Imagination after all

Then the looking glass reverted back to the purple liquid. D.W pulled the plug for it to drain down to the Spring of Dreams

D.W waved bye as Roman walked back to the house, going to his room and waited for tonight

Virgil meanwhile was now in the Imagination, setting up his plan for Romans Birthday. In his hands was the presents from the rest of the gang. He stacked them ever so nicely on Romans Throne in his castle

After some help, the presents were placed on a table in the Ballroom. Virgil asked the band to play Once Upon A Dream so they did their practice throughout setting up

In the middle of every table in the Ballroom was a vase of roses curtesy of D.W. Speaking of her, a gift from her got magicked on the present table

Virgil stole Romans swords and shield as a reference for the bands costumes. It's on the back while the elegant gold swirl motif adorned it, matching Romans royal aesthetic as well as his and the Imagination room doors

The Gang along with D.W were let into the Ballroom, amazed at Virgil's handiwork. D.W helped with any finishing touches before magicking a letter to Roman saying to come into the Imagination at midnight

She also magicked the Gang into more formal fancy clothes, Roman included. It was getting close to midnight, Virgil was excited and having the butterflies but he's also kinda anxious so his eyeshadow is currently a dark glittery purple

The clock struck midnight and the double doors opened, revealing Roman. Now he's not feeling upset that no one said Happy Birthday, they just wanted to keep a secret

Virgil walked up to Roman and hugged him

Thank you Corazon. Did you do all of this?

Virgil nods and leads him to their friends. The Gang talked, danced, had food and later on some Red Velvet Cake for dessert

Then Roman opened his presents. Logan gave him a book on Shakespeare since he is able to quote it. Patton gave him a big fill in type of book about dealing with writers block. Remus gave him an old camcorder that can be used to see The King in the home videos. Janus gave him a pair of Golden Theater Masks. Finally, D.W gave him a handy sword sharpening kit

Corazon, where's your present?

Everything I did today is my present. Also this

Virgil got on his tippy toes and kissed Romans cheek. Roman smiled and picked him up like a Princess, kissing his forehead in return

Patton awwed as Remus fake-gagged, then he did it for real which freaked out The Gang. D.W, Logan, and Janus was all stoic about it as they processed the situation

Since it's past midnight, it's already dark. Virgil shooed out the Gang so that it's just him and Roman left. Virgil left the castle and lead Roman to the Rose field near the butterfly house

Virgil picked some roses and made them into a flower crown, placing them on Romans head. The Prince smiled and tried to make one out of lavender but it kept falling apart, he eventually just summoned one since both him and Virgil are in the Imagination. Virgil appreciated it and lead them a hill recently made by the Birthday Boy

They laid down on the soft green grass, ending Romans Birthday with a night of stargazing
