Official Police Report

Roman Richard Simmons, 27, and Virgil Vesper Melentha, 25, have mysteriously died while out on their apartment balcony for a date

Their bodies are nowhere to be found but some sort of note was left at the scene where they were killed, is this case unsolvable for even the most toughest Detectives? Who knows?

Detective Thomas Sanders received the case, before it was given to more incompetent officers who were downright stumped. Now it's his job to solve this mystery

Along with his partner, Sergeant Nico Flores, the 2 started by going to the apartment itself. They got out of the car and walked inside the lobby, showing their badges to the front desk and received a swipe card to access the inside

The elevator dinged, letting them go up to the right floor. They stopped at floor 5, walking until they found the right one

Room 514

Nico had the card since he's more responsible than Thomas, meaning that he won't lose it the moment it was given to him. Nico swiped it and got approved, letting the partners inside

The kitchen was to their left while a whole bunch of walls was on their right. The living room was in the back and the dining room was sandwiched in between the kitchen and living room. There was a door where the blank walls are, Thomas suspected it was Roman and Virgil's bedroom. A sliding door lead to the infamous balcony

Everything from Roman and Virgil's date was set up in the same place. There was no blood at the scene but Thomas remembered the report saying something about a note

•Thomas•
The report said there was a note, we should definitely find that first since it's important to the case

@Nico@
Way ahead of you

He held up a slip of folded paper

Nico unfolded it and placed it down on the kitchen counter. It was...a list of the weapons rooms and characters in Clue?!

Revolver
Dagger
Lead Pipe
Rope
Candlestick
Wrench

All but the Rope was crossed out

Mrs Peacock
Colonel Mustard
Mr Green
Professor Plum
Miss Scarlett
Mrs White

All but Colonel Mustard was crossed out

Ball Room
Billiard Room
Conservatory
Dining Room
Hall
Kitchen
Lounge
Library
Study

All but the Lounge was crossed off

@Nico@
Each character in Clue has a specific color. Mustard is another word for yellow so we're looking for someone in yellow. Colonel is a military rank, so maybe the killer has a military background

•Thomas•
No blood was at the scene so it's either strangulation or hanging. The weapon is rope so it could be one of the 2. Also, we know where the bodies are, somewhere in the lounge area in either the victims apartment or the killers

@Nico@
You're right! So search for the bodies first or ask around?

•Thomas•
Ask around, searching for dead bodies are gross without Val's autopsy skills

@Nico@
Agreed. We should start with the rooms in close proximity. Keep a sharp eye for any yellow or ropes especially in the lounge area. I'll stay here and do the lobby later while you go above and below
