Prinxiety Oneshots 2

-The Railway Platform-

2 men stand alone on the edge of a railway platform, surrounded by nothing but water. The train tracks have long since vanished and the station has been washed away. Every 5 minutes, they check their watches. There is nothing in sight on the line, but in the distance something skims across the water, and it's headed for their lonely platform

It was a boat. Decently sized. Made of wood. It's provided with a lantern at the front for when it gets dark on the journey

The ever confident Red gets in first, followed by the nervous Purple. Red reassured his love, Purple, that everything is going to be alright. Their destination will let them be free

The boat took off, setting sail for where Red and Purple are going. Purple worried about a storm coming, Red told him that the elements will protect them from any danger during the long trip

Where they are going is known as the last safe place. A place where people like them can be themselves

Purple remembered everything before what was known as The Tragedy. People like them were free to celebrate their differences. There was parades, events that were held because of who they are. Everything was good and perfect. Hope filled the world with their happiness

Then, Despair reigned over out of nowhere. It made the once happy world suffer and crumble into nothing. People like them were now banned, disgraced, ostracized. They were called disgusting and abnormal. Their houses, looted and raided. Things, stolen and taken away. Resources, poisoned or destroyed. People, now dead or captured. Those who were lucky ran

The terror seemed endless. The violence left scars on everyone, including Red and Purple. They were desperate for their once happy world to come back and for the safe place to be true, not just a myth or shrouded in mystery

The wind picked up which started to worry Purple

Winds picking up. It could be a hurricane or a tornado, what if we get stranded because we blew away or what if we get caught up in one, spinning around Wizard of Oz style? What if the wind makes the boat go faster and we won't reach the last safe place

Remember what I told you, the elements will protect us. We're safe, I'll let you listen to my heartbeat, there is no deception

Purple felt a steady beat, Red wasn't lying so he felt safer than before. To further ease his love, Red sang a few old Disney songs since Purple gets calm when he sings

The wind died down after a few songs, some worry left Purple but not all of it due to his anxious nature. Then the faint smell of smoke filled the dark sky

Smoke equals fire

Fire equals destruction

The worry that did leave Purple came back

Hmm, smoke. Must be from a campfire

Campfire?! Who knows if that small and harmless campfire will spread and then we'll never be in the last safe place?! Maybe it will continue to rage on and destroy everything here?!

It's only here to protect us, we're safe Morado. Even though it sounds scary during the journey, they're fighting Despair using their disasters. We will reach the last safe place

We will?

Of course. Because love is love is love, and there is nothing wrong with that

Reds words made Purple feel even more safe. The boat finally turned while approaching a fork in the road, well body of water

Purple swore he could see a weathered sign saying The Last Safe Place, pointing in their direction. Like if the boat has a mind of its own and knew where to bring passengers

That sign back there said The Last Safe Place. You're right, we're going to be ok

Purple's nervousness slowly faded but didn't completely go away. Red smiles, happy to see joy within his love instead of anxiety

I would not wish any companion in the world but you

Remember you used to recite whole Shakespeare Monologues back before The Tragedy? You practically lived at the Theatre then at home

I do. Remember our most magical day in the flower field? You looked so beautiful

Purple glances at his engagement ring sparkling in the moonlight. A silver band with a Black Rose in the center, a Ruby was on the right and a Amethyst was on the left. They were going to get married but the Tragedy's rule began to on that day. They instead will get married in the Last Safe Place

In the distance, Red sees another sign that says Last Safe Place, you're almost there

Sign back there says we're almost there

Ok

After 10 minutes, the boat stopped at a gate, someone was in a ticket booth

The gates opened, revealing a dock for the boat to stop at. They were greeted by someone more punctual and smarter

They left the boat and dock, following Dark Blue to a house

This is where you're staying. From the gate person, I heard about your engagement so there's supplies for a wedding in the basement

Dark Blue handed them a 6 Striped colorful flag sporting each color of the rainbow

There is a pole above the front door so you can wave it. It's a tad high so I would recommend to use a stool or chair

Dark Blue left them alone, Red opened up the front door to see their new house

Their living room was the first thing they saw. In the back was their kitchen and the dining room was in between the rooms. Stairs leading upstairs was opposite the kitchen. The first door was their room, 2 other doors in that room was their bathroom and walk in closet

The second door was an office, and the third was a guest room

Under the stairs was the basement stairs. In some plastic boxes was wedding supplies on the bare and empty floor. In a section of its own was a little laundry area complete with empty baskets

Red and Purple were happy that they made it to their destination. They were finally free of The Tragedy and they were finally free to be themselves
