The now rescued royal Virgil stepped into the castle, his lover and brave knight Roman in tow

The place looked wrecked, in shambles. Destroyed. Like the kingdom was under attack and lost the fight. It looked untouched for ages, the only thing intact was the thrones, instead of people there was only dust and debris on it

A yellow snake slithered through the now abandoned palace, then shape-shifted into a very familiar man

Janus, the castles now old advisor and resident magic man

<Janus>
Welcome home Your Royal Highness and Sir Roman............you're one hundred years late

Both of their eyes went wide, seeing Janus's own pair a pale milky white instead of its normal heterochromic yellow and brown

Are you really sure you're still royalty if your kingdom is in ruins? If there is no one left but corpses?

Roman then pulled out his sword and brought it to Janus's neck, getting angry

My Princess is still royalty by birthright, SnakeFace. You should respect him as such since he now inherits this place

<Janus>
SnakeFace? Do keep up with the insufferable nicknames, Sir Roman. Also I believe that your Princess is now in danger

Janus used his magic to pull Virgil to him, his gloved hand producing a glowing yellow light up against the royals neck

Roman charged at Janus with his sword yet again, he was about to use the blade to get his hands off of Virgil's neck when Janus suddenly dropped to the ground, muttering to himself and phasing in and out of glitching

<Janus>
I'm sorry, He made me do it, find your party before the terror begins, you don't have much time, everything you need is in my chambers

Then he sunk into the ground, a door surfaced, giving Roman and Virgil access to the Mage Chambers. They stepped through the door, seeing things scattered everywhere. Books, papers, pieces of glass, quills, ink, everything Janus has in the room

There was a selection of items on a circle table, on it was a map of their country Avalond, a heart shaped compass, healing potions, food, water, warm clothes, bags, a Save The Ye Old Theatre poster, a silver cross necklace, a rusted old oxidized pocket watch, and a leather guidebook detailing what lies ahead for Roman and Virgil

The couple unraveled the parchment having the map, seeing what they need to do and where to go

Their current location is The Storm Islands Palace where Virgil's kingdom is. It is marked with a Red Sword and Purple Butterfly. They needed to cross Lightning Ocean to get to the mainland using the same boat used previously from their journey 100 years ago. Their first location was Nevermore, The Land of Stories. It was marked with a Pink Flower

They then have to hike through The Southern Grove to get to The Fairy Plains, marked with a Light Blue Heart. Afterwards their next location is the North Gate, entrance to Paradise Tower which was marked with a Dark Blue Cloud

After Paradise Tower, the next stop was SpiritVille, marked with a Golden Eye. Their second to last location was Rouges Cave, marked with a Green Spiral

Their destination was The BadLands, marked with an Orange Question Symbol

Scattered throughout were places crossed out and labeled with various Dangerous's and Distractions. A place that seemed familiar was The Sleep Emporium run by Remy who is known as The Snoozer, then Roman remembered that him and Virgil spent the night there once after both of them needed a place to relax and get refreshed after a long while of walking
