Another bag full of coins get distributed to the many less fortunate citizens of Nottingham. Just doing my duty, defying that phony Prince and escaping his many attempts to capture me. His army hasn't been able to find the Merry Men's hideout hidden very deep into Sherwood Forest, the place I now reside in after my family castle got destroyed

Back then, I was Roman of Loxley, instead of Roman Hood. Back then, I was in love with someone beautiful, but he got sent away. I guess giving back to the less fortunate hasn't let me receive word of my love's return. At least Logan and the Merry Men try to fill in that gap of loneliness

I then reach our hideout, seeing Logan cook dinner. My brother, Remus, somehow keeps getting injured with his mace which he prefers to carry over bows and arrows. Friar Janus is now healing Remus at the makeshift medical clinic at the hideout. Thomas, the Merry Men's Minstrel, is tuning his guitar while sitting on a stump

Everyone cheered since I arrived so I said hello then yawned, asking for Logan to set aside a portion of dinner for me. I retire to my room, staring at the carving I made with an arrow. It was a heart with mine and my loves initials

I trace over it many times with my index finger then fall asleep since robbing the rich this late made me tired. I dream of reuniting with my love, dreaming of us getting married and being happy. In the morning, Logan wakes me up and gives me my breakfast aka the dinner he made last night

I eat it quickly since I didn't have food yesterday then get dressed in my signature red attire. I leave my room, seeing the Merry Men all awake. They were all whispering like they were keeping a secret

{Roman}
Merry Men, what are you hiding from me?

Many choruses of nothing came from each Merry Man until Friar Janus spoke up

<Janus>
Unfortunately, Roman, when I went to open my abbey for today, papers posted around Nottingham had a wedding announcement detailing the union of the phony Prince and Virgil. He and his friend Patton have returned to Nottingham

My eyes go extremely wide in both shock and horror. I then started to get angry at the phony Prince, since he and my love Virgil are apparently getting married. I began to walk out into Sherwood Forest but Logan pulled me back towards the hideout. I try to get my arm out of Logan's hold but it was no use

Then the rumbling of carriage wheels was heard in Sherwood Forest. I climbed a tree to see what's going on. It was the phony Prince! I could hear him say something about the wedding being an elaborate plot to capture me because of course he of all people wants my head. I then heard that the phony Prince plans to dump my love in the dungeon!

I climb back down, anger clearly plastered on my face. I tell the Merry Men about the phony Prince's scheme, prompting them to get ready to invade and crash the wedding. After quickly making a plan, we all set off to the phony Prince's "castle" where the wedding was being held

We took out each of the guards, knocking them all out with Remus's mace he prefers to carry and use instead of a bow and arrow. Each Merry Man stood at a window while I stand in front of the church's double doors, being ready to bust it down

Pastor
Now then, if anyone doesn't agree with this marriage then I'll give you time to obj-

I then kick and bust down the double doors, seeing the phony Prince standing next to a mannequin!?

{Roman}
Wait, where's Virgil?

Prince
In the dungeon! And perfect timing to show your face, Roman Hood! I can finally capture you once and for all!

{Roman}
Not if I have to do it first, now!

I signal the Merry Men to break the glass from the windows, shooting their arrows and throwing his mace in Remus's case towards the phony Prince. Some arrows ricochet off of the phony Prince but a few go deeper, wounding the phony Prince. We both pull out our swords and begin to duel epically

The duel spanned from us in the church to us eventually being near the dungeon. I had the upper hand the entire time, thinking fast, I pin the phony Prince against the wall with the blade of my sword pressed against the phony Prince's neck lengthways

{Roman}
Let go of Virgil now or else I'll stab you with your own sword

Prince
My own sword? You're going to have to- welp I'm swordless

{Roman}
Like I said, let Virgil go or else you'll get killed by your own sword

Prince
You're not actually going to kill me, right?

{Roman}
I have a code to follow, but you're an exception since you don't deserve that crown placed on your head

Prince
I do deserve this crown! I do-

The phony Princes words get cut off since I eventually stabbed him in the stomach with his sword. Quickly knocking out the warden of the dungeon let me get the keys. I found the right one and free Virgil from the cell

We hugged at first, very happy to be reunited. I brought Virgil back to the church where the remaining Merry Man are. They all congratulate me for rescuing Virgil. Janus promises to give me and Virgil a proper wedding while Remus yells to everyone that I have a boyfriend. Logan smiled but Patton fiercely grabbed me and pinned me against the wall

(Patton)
Roman if you don't treat Virgil with respect, I will hit you in the face with a frying pan, ya got that?

{Roman}
Of course, Patton. Can you put me down now?

Patton let me go, Virgil ran up to me and we hugged for a second time. We then all left the church, the people of Nottingham cheered since the phony prince is dead. Going back to Sherwood Forest, I realized that we don't need to hide anymore since the phony prince is dead

Relieved that we won't have to stay in the forest anymore, The Merry Men pack up their things and set off to where they lived. Virgil stays with me after everyone left

¥Virgil¥
Come on, Roman. We're going home

{Roman}
I can't, my castle got destroyed

¥Virgil¥
You do realize that it can be rebuilt right?

{Roman}
Oh yeah, silly me

Virgil smiled, holding my hand and lead us both to where my families castle once stood. Enlisting the help of the Merry Men, the castle got rebuilt

A few days later, Virgil and I got married in Janus's abbey with Thomas playing the typical wedding music on his guitar. Remus dramatically and comedically cried into a reluctant Logan's shoulder as Patton was happy to be the flower person. The Merry Men cheered and congratulated the union, setting up the carriage for Virgil and I

Virgil and I sat inside the carriage, being driven to where we first met. We got out and remembered when we saw each other for the first time. Smiling, Virgil gave me a kiss on my cheek. I returned it with a kiss on his forehead which made him smile more

We eventually got settled to where we first met, ready to spend the rest of our lives together
