Note Before Reading!
We are proud to introduce our next little project, Façade. What was once born a Fan fiction, has found a new life of its own. Some of our past readers may recall when this was fanfiction. For others, you may catch on to what fanfiction was. We did not expect it to become a part of our ever-expanding world. We can't wait to share it with you and show you a different side of our creation.
We'd like to declare that as you read through Façade, you will probably notice there are some grammatical errors as well as punctuation mistakes. You are more than welcome to point these out to us as we encourage your help in making reading a better experience.
This is the first book of the Façade series. It takes place in a shared universe with several of our other books. As such, there will be mentions of other characters and situations that will take place in a larger world but will be featured in a different book. While you don't necessarily have to read our other books, doing so will help you understand certain situations and give you a better understanding of the world as a whole. We invite you to check them out and look for easter eggs.
The world we have created is much like the real world; not always a happy one. There will be elements in this world and these books that won't necessarily be seen in the best light. Themes of sexism, racism, dating violence, sexual assault, physical violence, and many others. While uncomfortable to read about, these themes do have a place in works of fiction because they are prevalent in the real world and need to be discussed. We hope these conversations will be had.
We stress these themes in our books are not necessary our own views as we prefer to get into the mind of our characters, the way they see the world and it could be the wrong way. We fully expect there will be some people that will be offended by these themes and we do understand that, which is why we invite discussion or the option not to read. However, we also stress we have told the story we wanted to tell, one of good and evil, and the promise good will always prevail.
