Sam was crying in his bed, he was having a bad evening, mainly due to finding out his girlfriend, Gemma Hawkins, had been cheating on him for the past week or so, with at least 2 other guys.
He sighed, ever since high school started, he had been trying to get a long term girlfriend. But at least the first two actually had the decency to break up with him instead of kissing other guys behind his back.
He got his phone out and called his best pal, max. Maybe he could cheer him up...

Max was busy not doing homework when Sam called, so of course he picked up. "Heyyyy what is up my dude?"

"Hi max.." Sam replied sadly.

Max noticed he sounded like he had been crying. "Hey, what's wrong..?" He took a sip of jitter.

Sam sighed shakily. "well... I found out that... Gemma was kissing Blaine Evans and Dylan waters..."

Max did a spit take. "WHAT?!" he yelled angrily.

Sam started to cry again. "Yeah... so needless to say i broke up with her..."

Max got up. "IM GONNA KILL THAT H*EBAG!"

Sam gasped. "Oh no no no no! You'll get caught!"

Max growls. "I don't care! SHE'S GONNA PAY FOR DOING THAT TO MY BEST FRIEND!"

Sam thinks quickly. "U-uh... do you think you could come see me instead..? I need hugs right now..."

Max thinks. "Fine...I'll be over soon..." he hangs up the phone and sneaks out of his bedroom window.

Sam sighed in relief and fell back against the bed.

About 10 minutes later, Sam heard clacking against his window. He got up and saw Max tossing pebbles at it. He waved at him, Max smiling and waving back. Sam opened the window for him and Max climbed up on the roof with the help of Sam. Once they were both in the room Sam sat back down on his bed, Max sitting in his lap and hugging him. "I'm sorry that happened... a guy like you deserves so much better than a cheating sl*t." Sam hugs back. "Is there something wrong with me...? I can't even keep a girlfriend longer than 2 months...''" Max nuzzles him. "No, Sam... you are better than like, all the guys at school." Sam smiles a little. "How so...?" Max looks in his eyes. "Well, you're really funny, you're super sweet, and you are able to put up with crazy people." he laughs. "I.e., me." Sam smiles. "Yeah, I guess so.." Max leans on his shoulder. "So... have you ever considered... you know... dating within your gender...?" Sam blushes a bit. "Uh..." truth is, he had thought about dating guys, specifically the one guy that was sitting on him at this very moment. "N-no, I can't say that I have." Max sighed. "I have... but no guys I've met have met my standards..." Sam pet him on the head. "Huh..."

The two sit, cuddling in semi awkward silence until Max scoots up to kiss Sam on the cheek, causing him to blush. "S-sorry..." Max says. "No, no.. it's okay.." Sam pets his head again. "Y-you can do it again if you want.." Max giggles a little and kisses his cheek again. Sam smiles, rubbing his back. "So... Do you wanna, try and date? If you're interested...?" Max asks, looking at Sam nervously. Sam nods. "Sure... I don't think it would be that different, just with more affection..." Max smiles, turning to face him. "Yeah!" They kiss each other softly, with Max wrapping his arms around Sam's neck and Sam holding him by the waist. It was lovely. After pulling away, Sam noticed it was getting late, so they decided to sleep together(in the innocent way). So Sam lay down and Max lay on his chest, the two snuggling as they fell asleep.

The next day max proceeds to go attack the cheating h*e by yeeting a brick through her window.
