Sam and max stories

In the office, Max is currently interrogating a nameless suspect of their latest crime. The guy was refusing to speak, so Max was trying increasingly violent things to try and make them spill the beans. "I'm gonna give you one last chance, where did you hide the secret documents?" the suspect looked away. "I'll never talk." Max grinned deviously. "We have ways of making you-"

Suddenly, Max feels tapping on his arm. He looks down to see a small white husky pup. "daddy!" "oh! Vinnie!" He kneels to meet the pup's eyes. "Daddy's working right now, can this wait?" Vinnie shows him a crayon drawing he made of him, max and Sam, max smiled widely. "Did you draw that?" Vinnie nodded proudly. Max scratched him gently behind the ears. "That is so good!" He shows the suspect. "Look at what my kid drew!" Vinnie giggles.

Just then, Sam walked in through the door. "Hey Max, have you seen-" he spots Vinnie. "There ya are you little rascal!" he giggles and picks Vinnie up. Max shows him the drawing. Sam smiled at it. "Aww, how sweet." he takes it and looks at Vinnie. "Shall we go put this on the fridge, little artist?" Vinnie nodded. "Okay!" Sam carried him out so Max could finish his interrogation.

Later, the three were watching TV on the couch when Vinnie fell asleep on Max's lap. Max giggles quietly and strokes his little head, "Sam look!" he whispers. Sam looks, smiling. "Aww..." he scoots closer. Max smiled. "He's our little sapphire all right." Sam nods. "Yeah, little sapphire pup.." the three were a happy little family.
