Annabeth's POV:

The last day of school is always... challenging. The kids are excited in the morning, then when they come home, they're full of the sugar from the snacks they get. Plus, it's sad to know that my kids are growing and will be in a grade up. Alex is going into 5th grade. 5th. That's so weird. But it's also the last week before they go to camp. Some of them.

"Morning, Mom!" Alex laughed, putting on his Jean jacket.

"Don't you look dashing." I smiled.

"Mom, no one says that." He said.

"Oh, whatever." I said. "I see you chose the comfy outfit."

"Just because I'm wearing sweatpants doesnt make it a comfy outfit." He rolled his eyes "This jean jacket isn't nearly as comfortable as the pants."

"Okay, sense you're so into fashion, wanna go help Parker?" I laughed.

"He's a lost cause." Alex said and sprinted up the stairs.

"Ow!" Stacy yelled. "Watch it, Tidal He-" She started before she saw me.

"Mhm, that's what I thought." Alex smirked and went up the stairs.

"What's his nickname?" I asked.

Her tan face was bright red "It's nothing."

"Anastasia."

"Tidal Hell." She gulped and walked down the stairs.

"I-" I started then shook my head "Gods, you kids."

She pulled back a string of her hair into a gray owl. "Anyway, what do you think of my outfit?" She asked.

"Spin for me." I laughed.

She spun around in a circle. She had a white button up shirt with a pink vest over it, black skirt, and black tights with boots.

"Cute." I said.

"Thanks!" She laughed and went back up the stairs.

"Hey, Mom!" Phoebe laughed.

"Hey," I said "Honey?"

"Yeah?" She asked me.

"You wanna wea- Never mind." I said.

"Okay?" She said. "Can you put my hair into a ponytail."

"Yeah, come here." I said "I'm surprised you can't do it yourself yet, your hair is so thin."

She sat down in front of me and let me put it in a ponytail.

"What about my outfit?" She asked.

She wore jean shorts and a blue shirt with knee high socks.

"I love it." I smiled.

"Where's dad?" She asked.

"Beach." I answered.

She clicked her tongue "Okay, yeah." And headed up the stairs.

Then came Parker. He wore Khakis and a blue button up shirt.

"Handsome." I laughed.

"Thanks, Mom." He said. "I have to brush my teeth, hold on."

And he went up the stairs as Stacy came down.

"Mom, my vision is definitely getting worse." She said.

"How so?" I asked.

"I can't read that sign from here." She pointed to the sign above the bookshelves.
