Alex's POV:
"Luna, Jack is mortal, he can't enter Camp Half-Blood." Stacy said.
"So?" She asked "I'll sacrifice myself to save him."
"You can't do that." I said "Jack can come with us, and we'll work this out with Chiron when we get there."
Jack looked up at me.
"Okay?" I asked.
"Mhm." Luna grumbled.
"I'm starving." Jack said.
"Yeah, we'll look for food." I mumbled.
We walked around for food.
"Do we have money?" Stacy asked.
"Five bucks." I said.
"There's a McDonald's there, 5 bucks is enough for that new thing they have where you get. . . a bunch of stuff." Stacy said "What do you say?"
"Anything." Phoebe said "I'll even eat Ace if I had to."
That made Blackjack steer Ace away from her.
"You guys stay here, we'll be back." I said "If something happens, let us know."
They nodded and we walked in.
"How can I-" The lady started before she looked us up and down "We don't five away free meals."
"Are we really that gross?!" Stacy freaked.
"That please." I said, pointing to the sign.
She sighed "Five dollars."
I gave her the soiled Five bucks and she told us to sit.
"I'm kind of nervous." Stacy said "What if someone here is a monster?"
"M-monster?" Jack stuttered and shivered "I-I"
"He has nightmares." Luna scowled at Stacy for saying the word "Him and I sleep in Richard and. . . that woman's bedrooms closet. In a soiled sleeping bag."
"Oh, wow." Heidi said "I-Im so sorry."
"Yeah." Luna said. "But we don't speak of the M word, understood?" She gave all of us a dirty look and we nodded.
"Yep." I said "And, Jack, can you see this?"
I put my hat on and I saw my sword appear as Luna gasped.
"What, Luna?" He asked "It's just a hat."
"You can't see the sword?" I asked.
"What sword?" He asked.
I looked at Luna and mouthed "He won't see monsters."
She arched her eyebrow but shrugged.
"Alex?!" The lady called and I got the meal from her.
"The 6 nuggets, Phoebe and Jack can share with the small fries." I said "There's two burgers, we'll have to split that."
After we finished everything, Luna and Jack started looking more human.
"How old are you?" Phoebe asked Jack.
"Six." He said "Just turned six."
"Cool, I'm seven." Phoebe said.
"I can't get over the fact that I'm. . A forbidden half-blood." Luna said "How-"
"It took me some time, but we'll get to camp probably tomorrow." Heidi said. "You'll be fine."
