"i don't like that yeosang is rooming with jongho," a frustrated wooyoung stated, falling back onto the bed.

san simply chuckled before sitting down beside the boy and smiling a bit.

"really?"

"yes, really! sangie's just gonna let himself get hurt!"

"you really think so?" san teased, unknowingly to wooyoung.

"san, can you stop it! you know how sangie is, i'm worried!"

san frowned slightly at wooyoung's snapping and pulled the boy into his arms, kissing his temple lightly.

"baby... he's gonna be okay. think positive, yeah? if things go well, great. if they don't, just think about the upside of it. think about how jongho won't try again. if there's one thing i know for a fact about him, it's that he keeps his promises when he loves someone."

"he didn't keep his promise when he told yeosang that he'd stop being rude to hwa."

"he wasn't in love with yeosang at that point," san stated, shaking his head.

"he wasn't?"

"he was deep in like at that point, but it wasn't until later on that he started to love him. or at least that he realized it."

"and you're sure?"

"i am. woo, you can't just sit around worrying about sangie for the rest of your life. you've been going on nonstop about this since we got home from helping him, and that was nearly a week ago."

"he hasn't updated me though! san, i can't help it. he's my best friend..."

"i know, love... i'm just telling you that you need to trust that he's going to do what's right for him. no update is probably good, honestly."

wooyoung thought about this for a moment, then nodded. san kissed the boy's forehead lightly and laid back, pulling the younger onto his chest.

"just take a deep breath, woo. take a deep breath and just enjoy this moment. you and me, at peace."

wooyoung nodded once more and closed his eyes, breathing in san's sweet scent. to him, this was what home felt like. no where else seemed good enough in his eyes.

san felt wooyoung relax against him, causing a smile to form on his lips. he would never get sick of how much wooyoung cared about their friends, even if it meant that he'd have to calm the younger down later on. he would always cherish the latter's big heart, it was one of the many things that made san feel so at home.

"i'll never get sick of this," san muttered softly, beginning to draw shapes with his finger on wooyoung's back.

"get sick of what?"

"holding you, being with you, listening to your thoughts... i'll just never get sick of you."

"good... i don't know what i'd do without you..."

"this is home, my love. anywhere i'm with you."

"i'm glad we're on the same page..."

"i love you, wooyoung."

"i love you too, sannie. i really do."

"i will forever be grateful that our paths crossed... and that i had the courage to ask you if you wanted to grab coffee or something. even though it was a rough start, especially since i forgot to ask for your number, i'm still glad that it meant eventually getting to where we are now."

wooyoung giggled a bit, nuzzling into san's chest a bit before responding.

"i think it was cute. and i'm so glad that we never gave up on each other."
