move in day had finally come and wooyoung and san were happily helping yeosang get his dorm set up, allowing the boy to relax a bit since he had been so anxious about meeting his roommate. yunho and mingi were setting their dorm up just down the hall from yeosang, hongjoong helping them a bit. seonghwa was in and out, helping the boys, getting food for all of them, and having to get his own textbooks and supplies.

"when's your roommate getting here, sangie?" san asked, unpacking the boy's books and putting them on his shelf.

"i'm not sure... i think within the next hour or so?"

"i'm excited to meet him! i hope he's nice," wooyoung said with a smile. "hey, maybe he'll be gay and you can fall in love with him!"

"no thanks, woo," yeosang chuckled. "i think i'm done with guys for the time being. school comes first."

"we'll see about that! if it's anyone hot you may change your mind."

"like who?"

"uhh.... i don't know!"

"like juyeon maybe. were you one of those people who fawned over him last year?" san asked.

yeosang scrunched up his nose in disgust and shook his head.

"juyeon's not really my type."

"oh so you have a type?"

"he does. best described by the one and only jung hoseok me thinks."

"okay just because he's ONE of my biases doesn't mean he's my type," yeosang insisted, rolling his eyes a bit at wooyoung.

"then what's your type sangie?"

"it's not really like... a huge thing i guess but i really just like guys with gorgeous smiles and cute laughs. and i love it when they look like they have stars in their eyes too... that was what made me fall for hwa back when i liked him... his eyes."

"hwa does have pretty eyes," wooyoung agreed.

"sangie... do you still like jongho?"

"unfortunately i do, at least a little..."

"i get it. he was really good to you in the beginning, he just let his own insecurities and worries get in the way. he's like that. it's not the first time i've seen something like this happen with him," san explained.

"what was different this time?"

"he hit you. that's the farthest i've ever seen him go, and it worries me that he could be capable of worse. he crossed the line and did something that bothers me, so he lost my friendship."

"so if it wasn't for me—"

"yeosang, stop that. i was abused too, remember? i get defensive when my friends get hit because they shouldn't ever have to go through the same pain i experienced."

yeosang sighed and nodded a bit.

"what did you mean by 'too'?"

san whipped around and saw jongho standing in the doorway, a worried expression on his face.

"what are you doing here?" wooyoung sneered.

"i got assigned to this dorm. is anyone going to answer my question?"

"it's not my question to answer. figure it out yourself," san scoffed, rolling his eyes.

"guys... relax, it's going to be okay," yeosang muttered.

"sangie... how are you so sure?" wooyoung asked.

"because i'm going to ask for a reassignment. this won't last for more than a week."

"yeosang... i know you probably hate me, but give me a week. give me a week and if you still don't want me here, i'll go ask to get a reassignment myself and get out of your hair. this will be my last chance, i'll never ask you for another."

yeosang pursed his lips a little, appearing lost in thought as the three boys looked between each other and over at yeosang.

"why should i even give you a week? you've had two chances already, aren't you just going to blow this one too?"

"how much time are you willing to give me? you decide, i can live with whatever it is."

"five days."

"that's generous," wooyoung muttered.

"i'll take it."

"we'll get unpacking, you don't have forever," yeosang remarked.

"right... you won't regret this, yeosang. i promise."
