"Does someone want to tell me why I had to hide from them? Who were they? And what did they want?" I ask as I stand behind my-so-called family as they look to where the Volturi guard just left.

"They were looking for you! Because of your mistake!" Alice says with venom as they all turn around and look at me. I growl ready to kill her. My brother goes to grab me but I throw him like a rag doll acrossed the woods. Jasper stands in front of her ready to protect her from me.

"You know as well as I, Jasper, you can't stop me if I really want to kill her!" I say as Jasper starts to fall to his knees. "As for you, Alice, you lying little bitch better start telling me the truth or you wouldn't be making any new friends anytime soon! Since you'll be dead!" I say with a growl as Jasper's face starts to crack.

"OK! I am sorry! Just please stop! You're hurting him!" Alice begs as I make Jasper start to scream and then cut it off, letting him heal from my powers.

"The next time you want to be a bitch with me remember this cause I can and will kill him and then you! And no one can stop me!" I say as I step closer to her. Jasper growls as Emmett gets in between me and Alice.

"Mads... Enough! She gets it!" Emmett says, making me glare at.

"Be glad you are my brother and that I love you!" I say as Emmett looks taken back. I turn and walk away from them.

I watched as my sister walked away from me pissed and ready to do harm to not only me but Alice and Jasper. I turn to Alice and growl. "We need to stop lying to her. I have no doubt that she will kill all of us when she finds out what we are hiding from her!" I say as I look only at Alice. I can see the fear in her eyes as she looks back at me.

"I didn't lie to her, they were here because of her." Alice says as I growl once again.

"Even though that is true... You know she can't control her gift. She doesn't get to pick and choose when she takes a power from another. She tries so hard to stay away from everyone and we are all keeping her away from her mate. Lying to her and blaming her for something she has no control over." I yell, Alice and everyone besides Rosalie looks ashamed.

"Emmett you know what will happen if the Volturi get a hold of Madalynn and her gift." Carlisle says as I shake my head at him.

"According to Alice!" I say as Alice looks shocked that I would doubt her. "I am tired of lying to my sister. If you haven't noticed she is getting meaner and pulling away from us... From me and Rosalie." I say, before walking away from all of them. I track my sister to the field we play baseball in. "Mads... Please listen to me. We are only doing what we thought was right in protecting you." I say as she glares at me.

"I don't need any of you to protect me!" She says as she looks back at the waterfall. "Let's not forget I am powerful! I'm a copycat. That's the only reason I am kept around here! Is because of my gifts. You and Rose are the only ones that want me here!" She says and it breaks my undead heart that she thinks that.

"That's not true, Mads..." I try to say as she just shakes her head at me,

"Yes it is!" She says to me, I sigh knowing that she is somewhat right about what she said. But not to me and Rosalie, she is our family.

I was shocked that Madalynn might be my mate. Now I wish more than ever that I was able to meet her, to see her. But I was more pissed that they were keeping me away from her. She was mine after all. She is my mate and I will get her from them and claim her as mine.

"What do you want to do... About your mate?" Felix asks as we walk into my room.

"I don't know... But she is mine and I will have her. When I am ready!" I tell him as he chuckles at me.

"And what about Heidi and the others?" He asks with a laugh. I sigh as I knew this question was coming.

"For now I will still have my fun with them... That is until I claim my little mate as mine." I say with a smile as I think of all the fun I will have with her when she is in my arms. From what I have heard from vampires that have seen Madalynn she is a beauty.

"And what will you do if she is the copycat?" Alec asks as he stands at my door. I sigh as I know that was her we were looking for. "Cause from what I have heard Aro wants said person in the guard and he wants them now." Alec says as Felix looks over at me a little afraid.

"If she is the copycat then she will become part of the guard since she is my mate!" I say as Alec smiles at me.

"And what if she doesn't want to be your mate?" Jane asks as she just walks into my room. I was stopped in my tracks at that question.

"Why would she not want to be with me?" I ask as Jane, Alec and Felix share a look.

"Demetri... You are what they call a man whore!" Felix says as I look at him confused.

"Meaning you have slept with more females than is acceptable." Jane says as I still am confused.

"She may not be happy that you are her mate. She may not want to be your mate or be around your toys as you like to call them!" Alec says, making me growl that my mate would not want me because of that.
