I was returning from my time with Emma when I saw Victoria with the Volturi guard. I listened as they talked. I was shocked as they wanted the whole family wiped out. My brother, Rosalie and Emma included. It broke my heart. "And what of your mate?" Victoria asked but it was Jane that answered.

"She will not be a problem." Jane said as I watched Demetri nod his head.

"She bows to me" he said, making me growl and he must have heard it. He looked right at me before I was gone. I found the newborns and started to kill them. One by one.

"Madalynn stop!" I heard Demetri's worried voice. I picked up one and ripped her apart. Throwing her into the fire of the car. I turned and looked at him. "Madalynn..." He said as they looked at the rest of the newborns as they ran away.

"You may be my mate... But I bow to no one!" I said as he looked at me shocked.

"Baby... Please let me explain." He said and I could see the hurt in his eyes. I scoffed at him.

"Why should I listen to you?" I asked as I took a step closer to them. Jane looked taken back as I showed no fear that it was four against one. "I am more powerful than all of you! So why should I listen to what you have to say? What lies you, are going to tell me." I said and Demetri looked at me hurt.

"I have never lied to you Madalynn. Everything I have told you was the truth." He said and I cocked m y head to the side.

"I wish I could believe you!" I said as I looked over at Jane. "I know for sure I can't trust her or her brother." I said as I turned on my heels and walked away. I felt Demetri take a step but I blocked him from coming anywhere near me. I ran back to the hotel and grabbed my things making sure not to leave anything behind by the ring Demetri gave me. I heard Demetri yelling at Jane and Alec. I quickly grabbed my bags and hid myself from them.

"Demetri... She will come back, the pain will be too much for her." Jane said as Demetri shook his head.

"Her things are gone! All but her ring." He said, I could hear the hurt in his voice. I slipped out the door and walked away. I could feel him following me but he couldn't see me. "I know you are near... My little mate. And I will find you. You can't hide from me forever." He said as we rode the elevator down to the main floor. I smiled as He wouldn't find me not unless I wanted him too. Just as the doors opened I leaned into his ear.

"Not unless I want you too." I whispered. He turned and tried to grab me. But I was quicker. Not by much but by just enough.

"Madalynn... Please!" He whispered and it almost broke my heart. "I love you!" He said and I stopped.

"And I love you!" I said before leaning down and kissing his cheek. I knew I shouldn't have but I couldn't resist. He grabbed me and pinned me to the wall. "Madalynn..." Demetri whispered as I showed myself. I looked into his eyes and saw nothing but love and concern in his eyes. Before I could say anything his lips were on mine. His hands were tearing at my clothes. "I love you Madalynn. I will not lose you. Not now, nor ever." He said as he hit the stop button on the elevator.
