☆68. Can't I Just Get Married, Normally?☆

Jae-Hwa was covered by a baby pink small blanket of her height and was sleeping on the couch with her head placed on the lap of Jimin who just had his head leaned on the wall behind him, being seated with his eyes closed. Sleeping as well.

"Jimin?" He heard a soft call and realized in his sleep that he actually was almost asleep till now and opened his eyes to find Jungkook bended down to him. "Hey, it all went well. They shifted her into her own room now, you don't have to wait out" Jungkook whispered while taking an asleep Jae-Hwa from Jimin's lap and picking her up in his arms, making the child to place her side face over Jungkook's shoulder.

"Is she hurting? Where is she?" Jimin questioned in the speed of light all at once as he slowly raised himself from his seat.

"She is all right and is in that room at..." Jungkook pointed at the closed door of a room but before he could finish his sentence Jimin rushed towards the room.

He opened the door and found a bed where a sleeping Melody was laying in a baby patterned hospital attire and a thick bandage wrapped around her head, covering her eyes along. Her rattle toy placed beside her.

Jimin just leaned on the door with a sigh. "She doesn't like anything on her face, she would want to remove the bandage" Jimin mentioned as Jungkook walked up to him, shifting Jae-Hwa's weight in his arms.

"Well, that's the tricky part. We have to keep her engage in stuff to lift her attention off the bandage till a week" Jungkook explained while walking into the room and closing the door after Jimin.

"Did it... hurt her? It seems scary" Jimin looked back at Melody and gently caressed her hair and stroked her smol fist with his index finger.

"Not even a bit. She might get through some exercises throughout the week but the bandage won't be removed till the end of the week. So, she is going to stay here till then"

"Why can't we take her home?" Jimin asked.

"I don't think she herself is baby proof enough, once you drop her to floor she begins running away no matter what direction. So, I thought it would be better and Jae-Hwa would want to drag her to play so, a big no" Jungkook explained while shaking his head in denial.

"Then I will stay here with her"

"No. You go home and sleep, till then I will be here" Jungkook directed.

"Please, I won't be able to fall asleep anyway" Jimin insisted with a shrug.

"Okay, I should go and get Jae-Hwa home then" Jungkook added and turned to leave but Jimin grabbed his wrist.

"Don't leave me alone. Don't leave us alone... Melody and I" Jimin made up his sentence in a rush, cluthing onto the hem of Jungkook's sleeve.

"I will be back in a minute" Jungkook assured.

"No, Jae-Hwa shouldn't be alone at home either. And besides that, Melody and I need you and Jae-Hwa right now" Jimin stubbornly shook his head. "Can't we all stay here?"

"These couches?" Jungkook noted while looking at the corner couches unsurely. "Enough for us but..."

"Mr. Jeon, we are staying here. Place Jae-Hwa over there a little fast and come outside, right now" Jimin pointed out the door like an order and Jungkook keened his eyes at him and frowned questionably at Jimin who walked out while Jungkook, slowly placed her on the couch, fixing her small blanket on her.

"So...?" Jungkook started while leaning onto the wall beside Jimin as he walked out to the empty hallway of the hospital at night.

"I want to come straight to the point, Mr. Jeon" Jimin broke the silence while facing Jungkook. "I am not a gold digger. Fine, I admit I might be it sometimes when you shower your money on me over expensive gifts, food or a vacation trip" Jimin stated with his so many hand gestures. "The point is, I want to return the favor for what you have done for my-... for our daughter today..."
