The End

-Third Person's POV-

"W-What happened to the fifth?" 

"..We prefer not to talk about the fifth..around the time you died by being stabbed by Fernando there were already four of us left. In the end, Rhett was the only one who lived long enough to have someone succeed in our mafias." Gray revealed.

"Out of all the lives I lived, the fifth was probably the second most we fucked up on." Key laughed Dryly, reliving the moment he died.

"..What was the worst?"

"The seventh," Lessio muttered.

" It was the opposite of what happened to us in the sixth, we all died less than a year after you did," Niko said.

During their sixth life, they all lived in tyranny after Henrietta died. She died from heart failure right before they could bring her home. Because of desperation in their seventh life to successfully bring her home alive, they all ended up dying at the hands of Henrietta.

When she brought the whole building to dust with a press of a button. 

Just when she was hoping they lived a good life after she died, after hoping they found happiness elsewhere, she was now burdened by the realization that they too lived short lives.

They confessed to her that they don't regret dying, it was the first time they finally saw her healthy and alive after all the things they went through and this was more than enough. All eight lives they lived previously weren't in vain.

"Henrietta..if we can dedicate ourselves to you for eight lifetimes, we can definitely wait for you even if it'd take us all our life." Sin confessed.

"We know it'll be hard to trust us now but we promise that we will patiently wait. We just want to be part of our children's lives. Please.." Rhett begged.

"It is plain to see that we love you, Henrietta. I'm sorry we haven't said it sooner. If only we had told you the truth early on." Lessio expressed sincerely.

For the rest of the afternoon, they spent it talking to each other. Clearing up all their misunderstandings. She finally found out that they had never cheated on her with Ellery during their lives as they were now. 

They were regretful about the events that happened in their previous life. Their mutual close acquaintance helped them recover from the drug that was used on them. Her name was Everline, and they never had the chance to thank her properly.

"I wonder how did you guys get so much better at fighting?"

"It might be because of the apocalypse? " August thought mindlessly, forgetting that Henrietta was no longer alive during that time and wouldn't have known what happened in their world.

"A what??? " 

"Nothing important, right guys? " Key elbowed August while covering his expression with a smile.

They all hastily agreed, leaving her slightly confused. Since they didn't want to talk about it, she chose to no longer pry.

" What happened to Everline? That woman was younger than me but sure was she smart." She chuckled, remembering their interactions.
