Sun is forever surprised by his new decent adult, although he could do without his stalkers trying to barge into life but at least someone out there is still looking out for him

"Call the police! Just call everyone you can and even get the damn fire department as well. There are far too many damaged tanks right now"

We are missing half of the Mer's. They have suddenly vanished!"

"What?! Is this due to another stupid protestor group? I do not get paid enough for this job. Send staff to the healing and rehabilitation tanks. Those Mer's are likely to die of stress from a simple cold let alone this situation. And someone put out the fire by reception before it spreads"

"Yes, sir!"

Sun had to say, he had not been expecting this and that was saying something considering how crazy his life was lately. He watched the monsters and humans run around like headless chickens as they tried to reduce the damage done to the building. He thought it was pointless as going by the massive cracks running up to the ceiling he was fully expecting this entire thing to fall down any second.

"Don't worry, hatchling. I'll keep you safe. We will be out of here long before anything happens"

That was another odd thing he discovered, that 'mother' was far from a normal Mer as he discovered first hand when they suddenly grew to an insane size and covered his body when some of the ceiling broke off into their tank. He had no clue why they began cursing 'careless family members' but it didn't take a genius to realise they were clearly connected to the odd Leviathans he met earlier.

The other obvious weirdness was that their tail had shifted into legs when they got out of the water. Having a rare moment of being cooperative as he was picked up with his own useless tail that did not magically become legs.

He really missed being able to walk, clutching his plushy tight when the building began to shake, briefly placed down as this new Leviathan quickly grabbed a baggy lab coat before picking him up again. He tried his best to make himself smaller when 'Mother' closed up the lab coat, seeing the plan now and once again cursing how 'flashy' his tail was. The golden scales were pretty but he sparkled like a disco ball in any light and even in this sort of situation you would have to be as dumb as a nail not to notice him if he was uncovered.

'Mother' hummed a little tune as he walked out of the building that had been a great buffet but it seems his idiotic family had to go and ruin that, having felt absolutely pampered here and not having to deal with any other idiots. It seems his mini vacation was over, although he had missed getting a full view of the sky so perhaps it wasn't all bad.

He made a face when he saw one of his idiots nearby using a tentacle to smash a car, tutting at how they were using their larger forms and wondered if any of them realised that two leggers now had recording devices pretty much everywhere. It wasn't like the old days when you could just crush an entire village if one person saw you to hide your existence, this entire situation looking like an utter pain to clean up.

He usually led the clean ups when needed, still bitter at how many ships he had been forced to sink when Ink and Error got into another stupid spat and revealed their larger form in front of so many humans. He might not have any particular care for two leggers but he wasn't as callous as some of his 'family', seeing it as a needless waste of life...well, sometimes depending on his mood.

"What in the actual FUNK. How the hell are they here?! I thought this AU was a black hole to the monster's senses! What weird stalker luck is this?!"
