Palette frowned, the kittens having a similar expression as they stared out at the previous forest that had abruptly glitched into an underwater scene. That the water seemed to act like air with rabbits bouncing around inside it without issue, only added more questions with Palette's creative side itching to study it.

He hated how much power his warring magic aspects had over each other and him. Barely suppressing his bright and positive side, still an easier feat compared to the urge to dissect things he didn't understand and create anything his mind could come up with. Creativity was a curse as much as it was a gift in his mind.

It might have helped if Ink had ever helped him deal with this part of him but his father disappeared one day with his mother acting like nothing was wrong. He was still convinced that Dream had needed intense therapy for how they repressed everything to an insane degree. That they had once tried to convince him that he was born solely from Dream due to a 'wish' was insane and had made him truly worried about his mother.

That emotion changed to apathy when he grew older and he was sometimes referred to as 'Ink', his sympathy drying up fast after that. That he struggled to deal with the fact his body kept growing while his mind didn't also made it hard to interact with everyone, still cringing when Goth asked him on a date and only feeling utter confusion.

"Meow"

"I wasn't lost in thought or over thinking anything. I was just...thinking about important things is all"

He lied through gritted teeth as his eye twitched in an alarming manner when he saw an actual whale swimming in the air. He didn't even pick up that he was starting to understand his feline companions the longer he was around them, still trying to convince his feet to move away but it was a fight he was losing.

One side wanted to run away and avoid the frankly awful conversation that would follow when he found the babybones. The other wanted to study everything in sight and go buck wild!...and the small sensible part of him, that had somehow survived and even came into creation through his parents joining, screaming at him to go find the babybones and make sure they weren't about to self-destruct.

Palette was struggling with his instincts, having a less than great time dealing with the insane way the AU was corrupting and struggling with many thoughts.

Sun on the other hand was having a wonderful time, finding a few lovely 'adventuring groups' victims that were more than happy to feed him or carry him further into this strange AU. He had met so many other friendly stupid groups around and had a feeling he would never run out, this place like a free buffet and entertainment centre all rolled into one!

He perked up when a variety of scents filled the air, eyes darting to a funny looking tower that screamed 'ominous' and yet he had a deep sense that something wonderful was there. Something he would deeply regret not having and it had been far too long since he grabbed anything shiny or fun just for him. The food and many clothes he had 'borrowed' from the many groups he robbed didn't count, that was more to solve boredom and a totally different matter entirely.

Well, who was he to say no to possible fun.~

They were a well known party, many knowing their name far and wide but none of that mattered now. For they had all done the impossible, battled every creature and explored all the lands. They had searched all dungeons and had finally gotten to the top level of the hardest one, everyone in the group gasping in exhaustion as the last spell was cast with everyone's smile soon growing wider when the last creature in their way dissolved into dust.
