Palette finally meets up with Sun but the confrontation is delayed due to far more important matters 🐈

"...i hear screaming"
Palette perked up and did a 180, going towards the source while a bunch of monsters and humans ran away. Dodging the panicked groups but growing a tad annoyed when the crowd increased and he was bumped into with his small kitten friends quickly hiding in his scarf to avoid being jostled.
"If its not one thing, its another. It can never be simple.."
He sighed while he summoned his magic weapon, a paint roller and far more useful then Ink's Broomy's by far in his opinion. He amused himself by sitting on it like a witch, letting himself float above the group giving him a fun view of the slowly building crowd of panicked creatures with what he was pretty sure was a dragon running along with the people.
He rose just in time as the largest bear he had ever seen in his life, bounded towards the group, wondering if his hearing was betraying him when he heard a few roared words coming from its maw.
"Man, this place is just so strange. So much creativity and thought behind each character and yet they made the structure of the place far too flimsy. I might even shed a tear when this place inevitably collapses."
He hummed as he spotted a massive amount of rubble in the distance, his crystal clear mental map of the place, which was rather ironically due to his Creativity side no clue how that worked when his father was an idiot and was pretty sure that was where the main tower used to be.
It was almost a shame how rare this type of AU was, it needed a lot of editing in different aspects and clear upkeep to work smoothly with most Creators disliking working on creating something that could easily shatter by itself, let alone by anyone else. Maybe he would play with the idea when he had some free time, no longer having to be bound by others expectations and he could pretty much do whatever he wished!
The vision of a gold and orange eye floated in his mind, judgement heavy in the gaze that oddly came up whenever he thought of doing anything too outrageous.
"Don't hit my face. I'm paying attention, no need to keep smacking me"
He lightly flicked the orange kitten's face before they could paw his face, snorting when they puffed up and meowed in disapproval at him.
"I'm not stalling, I'm just taking the scenic route"
The excuse even felt weak to himself, lightly nudging his flying transport back towards the rubble as it had been subtly turning in the opposite direction. His subconscious wanting to avoid the likely ugly reunion and argument about to ensue.
It was clear the babybones hadn't solved their Code since they last met, the black hole he floated above that was the size of a penny but slowly sucking up the vegetation showed the multiverse Code was pretty much doomed for.
He stiffened up when he saw a small form sitting on what used to be a stone arched door, floating down and jumping off his roller. He wanted to start off on a good point, not wanting to deal with a rant on 'making fun of my height' again if the child was in such a mood.
He usually found the little rants funny but right now the guilt was threatening to drown him, awkwardly shifting in place as he waited to be addressed.
He hoped this went well.

Sun was having a delightful time, quietly cooing at the mewing kittens in the best bag ever with his magic curiously examining the bag trying to discover all of its secrets. He wanted to know if he could make more of them, wanting to test just how many kittens he could fit in here and so far had five perfect small balls of fluff that had joined the original two that had been in the bag to begin with.
In the back of his mind he was aware that he wasn't alone anymore, that he should probably turn around and address being chucked into a random multiverse without any warning....
"Meow~"
...but the kittens were just too cute. Eyes wide as he made sure not to miss a single action of the cute little fluff balls who were the best thing he'd ever seen in his life. The best thing was that they wouldnt leave him, the bag intrinsically linked to his magic. He'd always have a small companion around him, someone he could cuddle up and nap with and a perfect calm in the storm that was his life.
"-and i just wanted to say I apologise yet again. I realise how out of line i was and I'll do anything to show how truly sorry i am but we really need to address what you've done with your CHECK. It's not safe and-"
His ears twitched as bits of Palette's rant reached his ears, tilting his head but not looking at them as he was reminded of why he ended up in this place to begin with. He had completely forgotten he'd even touched his own CHECK as he hadn't given his name out since arriving here.
He glanced at his own Code, still a mess from stalker with bits glowing ominously from supreme stalkers magic that seemed to be spreading like a weed...and then there was a large gap where his name should be apart from small bits of Code that held him stable and kept his sense of self in tact.
It was weird he could see this without the fancy hand waves Error's would do and he blamed his Fresh side, seeing how his Code was adapting with the DETERMINATION giving a light pink hue to his core self, integrated into himself.
He guessed he should listen to what Palette was saying, a few words reaching him that sounded important...but also, kittens.
Jingle
His ears twitched at the noise, spotting a feathery item being dragged across the forest floor with the odd urge to pounce on it.
Now that sounded way more fun then what Palette was saying.
Palette was pleased his distraction was working, sure he could tire out the babybones and then have a nice chat. Unsure why his kitten friends looked at him with pity before going to hide behind a tree.

Palette: *Looking around* I wonder where they are-
*Screams and people running away*
Palette: *Doing a U turn and walking towards the source* Found them!
-
Palette: *Thinking to himself* Im free to do whatever i want with zero consequences!
Also Palette: *Having been subtly trained by Sun to control some of his restless*
Sun: *The sudden sensation of being pleased* Has a miracle happened?
-
Palette: *Worried* I hope the baybones isn't in a bad mood. This conversation is going to be hard
Sun: *Smiling brightly and looking like any other child as he cuddles one kitten after another* I could die happy right now!
-
Palette: *Pausing his rant and apology when he realises that Sun isn't paying attention* Hmm, seems i might need to use the big guns
Infernal and Celestial: *Quickly trying to hide when Palette brings out the ribbons cat treats as know this isn't going to end well*
