Splinter hopes the plan goes well, the MPS is reaching for more of Sun's past Stalkers and CHAOS is getting rather frustrated.

Helios kept an eye on his mate who was talking to the babybones they had been brought here for. The child was much smaller than he expected and he wasn't just talking height wise. They were quiet, watchful and he had so far spotted at least ten instances when the babybones hands sparked with magic when Mani got a bit too close.
"I managed to get quite a few names and a general timeline of Sun's life but there are noticeable gaps and we have him flagged as being in contact with a higher Deity. It's mainly why you two were called in due to your experience with such matters"
The SwapDreams mouth twitched in disgust as Splinter spoke, having read the file already but it always felt different seeing the child in person. He had wondered if it would ever get easier but sadly it never did, this time somehow more painful then the last one.
Perhaps it was due to the child being a Dream type or it could be the very unchildlike look in Sun's eyes, something he never wished to see in his own children's face even as they grew and left the house.
"We do indeed have such dealings with those types over the years...im assuming there is worry he will encounter more of those at some point?"
HIs words were drawled in a casual manner when his eyelights burned in direct contrast to his light tone. They still didn't know what exactly was the criteria to attract Deities attention but it was a safe bet to say that gaining one of their attention increased the likelihood of more going to look at the mortal in question.
He had his own share of noisy Deities and working with the agency he had realised there seemed to be many types that only added to the headache of the entire situation.
His thoughts on all the lovely chats he planned in the future were disturbed when his phone buzzed, looking at it the same time Splinter looked at his own and couldn't help but viciously grin at the news.
"Well, it seems we have one monster on the list that has been sorted and a Nightmare of all things. I can't say I'm surprised. Those types always cause some sort of issues"
He had to say the picture captured by the arresting agent was artistic, the number of bonds was truly overdone but amusingly placed and helped to soothe the edge of rage that had been creeping up.
Splinter silently agreed, Milo having been high up their list and was sure the interrogation would get all the details they needed about Sun's original AU. Sending Sun to stay with these two for a week or so while everyone else tried to track down these 'stalkers' was the best plan they had come up with.
There sadly wasn't a solid solution in this case with possible adoption for Sun, a shaky subject that whenever Splinter cautiously brought up he was stared at like Sun was about to face public execution. So many things a normal child didn't think twice about that Sun scrutinised like a lawyer trying to find a loophole in a non existent contract.
"Are you sure you are fine housing him for a week or two?"
He asked once again, Sun a rather curious child and one that didn't like to be in one place for long. He didn't doubt they would bolt if they didn't like something. That was very much the trend from what Sun had been willing to share with him even if the child in question didn't seem to notice the slip up.
"We have the wards to at least alert us if a Deity is near and its hardly an effort to have another child around"
Helios waved it off and didn't take it personally, this truly a unique case so he could understand the worry.
"It will be fine. A few of the grandchildren are planning to stay over for a few days and we have an assortment of animals due to our eldest obsession with animal welfare. He should be sufficiently distracted from this all"
He wasn't worried about housing Sun, smiling at seeing Sun laugh at something Mani said with a darker edge to his smile at the thought of all those monsters about to be dragged in to be held accountable for their crimes.
Justice truly was a wonderful thing.~

Opal and Sky were disappointed at another failed search for Sun, having quickly ditched the other monsters when they began arguing and pushing blame on eachother. He frankly didn't care and simply wanted to find the babybones who was subconsciously sending an alarming range of emotions down the bond. He had stuck with Sky as their skills worked well together, even if that was giving questionable success.
They had tried visiting the more easy trip multiverse at first but that had been an utter failure even if they had felt painfully close at some point.
"Tch, another failure. We should really just destroy the places we go to at this point"
"That would leave an obvious trail"
He automatically replied back to the usual back and forth they had after every failed attempt with the banter helping to relieve some of the pent up stress. His head twitched and swung to the right, narrowing his gaze on a bush and sure he just sensed something. He had felt paranoid he was being stalked but Sky had not spoken up whose senses were much higher then his own, wondering if paranoia was getting to him.
He adjusted his glasses to calm his nerves, his getup more like a FreshInk now as he saw no reason to hide what he was and it amusingly had the effect of alarming quite a few monsters who quickly talked whenever he got near. He got plenty of information this way but sadly not what he wanted.
"Let's move on. I feel we are close"

"Dammit, where are these damn bear traps coming from?"
CHAOS cursed as he barely avoided stepping in another one that littered the white space. He felt he was so close he could almost taste it but kept getting diverted. And all these damn letters which kept hitting him in the face didn't help, quietly crushing another one while barely avoiding another bear trap.
He was going to track down the monster causing this and give them a few choice words!...if he didnt keep getting lost that is, unsure why he kept getting off track.
It didn't matter, he would soon find his little chaos and finally introduce them to his currently mortal sibling. It would be perfect!
*SNAP*
Once he got rid of the bear traps at least.

Helios: *Steadily growing more homicidal at the severity of the situation* Is that so?
Splinter: *Taking a discrete step away* I feel zero pity for whoever tries to go near Sun after this
-
Splinter: *Cautiously talking about options to Sun* You can choose to stay with others. Maybe even be adopted if that's your choice
Sun: *Acting like cat with his tail stopped on and glaring at them like they just suggested bathing in lava* Are you insane?!
Splinter: *Smile strained while adding a large tick mark for trauma*
-
Opal: *Looking around in paranoia* I swear we are being followed
Sky: *Waving it off and far more distracted in finding Sun* You think way too much
MPS agent: *Hiding in a bush with a giant net* Dammit, i was so close that time!
-
CHAOS: *Cursing as he stepped into another trap* How does this keep happening?!
Core: *Writing the results in curiosity before moving on to yet another trap* Don't worry Sun. I'll give you all the time in the world
FATE: *Gleefully giving the extra nudge as this is just too funny to watch* This is great! I wish it could always be simple fun like this
Murphys law: *Creeping back into the picture*
