Sun becomes more suspicious and settles on a theory he is trying to deny with all his might. He holds onto his denial a little longer....

By the end of what Sun was classifying as some sort of secret torture session, he was mentally wrung out with his logical mind leaning towards simply dusting everyone and being done with it. It's not like it would matter in the end if anyone else could truly die here and automatically placed Toriel at the number one spot of his hit list.
He had almost forgotten what it was like to pretend to act and suppress so many of his desires, being far too spoiled lately in the lack of need to hide his basic personality at all. Thank god he could keep his ears and tail, pretty sure he would snap if he couldn't allow some of his true self to peek through, the additions so easy to maintain by now that he didn't even think when he had them.
Whoever had dragged him here at least wasnt a total monster, so he would make their demise slightly less painful in the end but that would change if he had to do another stupid feelings talk.
"Wasnt that great, Dream? I feel so much better after it"
...This was another thing he wasnt sure how to deal with, the many children he was now surrounded with and had to deal with. The main child he talked to before was his stupid twin who he preferred to think as dead, so his expectations, let alone experience with children was rather negative.
"Y-Yeah, it was great, Gothy"
He stuttered shyly as he held on his charade with an iron grip, while inwardly cringing when the small Death god placed an arm around his shoulder in a far too friendly manner and began chattering about what they were going to have for lunch. This was a mistake to even let his 'persona' interact with other children, it terrible when the deathling realised they didnt hurt him when accidentally bumping against him.
Now they were far too touchy, it taking everything in him not to bristle or better yet body slam them and summon a Gaster Blaster for good measure. He just had to survive a bit longer and he would be free!
"Children! It's playtime. Now everyone go outside"
...he felt he would come out a changed monster in the end, biting back a whimper as he was dragged into a game of tag and wanting to have his personal space back.
——
Five hours, six minutes and thirty two seconds of torture Sun was finally able to start the next step of his plan.
No, he would not like to say how exactly he knew the exact time despite none of the clocks working here and if he heard the word 'overly paranoid' from anyone's mouth he would show just how vindictive he could be.
He froze when the school hallways warped, his hypothesis only solidified but didn't waste time and bolted for the one room in this maze of a building he hadn't explored. He would prefer not to say how long it took him to even find where things were or how long it took to realise that the entire layout shifted on some unknown schedule.
It had been embarrassing when he was late for a class and had to ask help to get to a room no one else seemed to struggle to find. Truly not his best moment but he'd been straining his magic and sleep was rough to come by with how the sickly magic in the air kept playing back the same subliminal message over and over.
You are safe. This is your life. School is safe
It was creepy and he totally wasn't taking down notes in case he ever wanted to copy it in a vain attempt to get the monsters in his life to behave.
He ran down the corridors in a seemingly nonsensical pattern, spreading his magic out and grinning ferally at the realisation he had more control now that the main puppet master was gone, which worked perfectly for him.
He finally reached his destination, the well loved Principals office and without hesitation used a comically large hammer to smash open the door. He flexed his fingers once the hammer vanished in specks of light, smile growing as his hypothesis was only confirmed but shook that off so he didn't get distracted.
He needed to search for clues, sure there would be a few somewhere as he had found some in the classrooms and a few hidden in the the painful lessons he endured with a resilience that impressed even himself.
"C'com, c'mon. Where is it? There has to be files somewhere!"
He growled in frustration, riffling though draws with little shame or care as it not like it mattered, everything reforming seconds after just as expected. He froze as he pulled open a drawer and he saw what looked like a school photo of all the children, far more here than he realised but a few spots were missing. Names scattered around with three names catching his attention due to being done in bright red pen.
Dream

Blue
..this was creepy even by his standards, the way Ink's name was scratched so hard it went through the paper only added more questions.
At this point he was praying that the mastermind behind this all was a secret serial killer as he would far prefer that to what other ideas his mind were coming up with and that was a lot considering his history.
When he heard the familiar sound of a portal he darted under the desk, barely hiding in time as footsteps echoed in the room.
"Now the little group will be complete. How lucky to find a young Blue to finish the collection. Then everything will be perfect"
Sun was very much hoping his serial killer theory would win right now as that was so creepy to listen to, shivering when he peaked from the desk and spotted a young Blue held by the Principal whose expression screamed deranged.
He watched in growing discomfort when a black cloud came out of the monster hand and surrounded the Blue before the small body vanished. He did not look for dust or pray they simply murdered someone in front of him, that would be silly.
When the door finally closed and he was left alone he stared at his hand, all the blatant clues, how he could control his environment in a way he shouldn't be able to...
And decided he was going to have a nice breakdown before addressing any of this. This was going to be so much work and once again cursed all the idiot adults who were too useless to solve this messed up system.
He was going to demand a cat at the end of this!

Sun: *Smile stiff on his face* How the FUNK did i used to be able to do this for so long?! I must be getting rusty at acting
Everyone else: *Completely oblivious with Sun's 'rough' acting superb*
-
Sun: *Disheveled, twitching alarmingly and close to snapping* That was hell
Goth: *Smiling happily after playtime* Hmm? You say something?
-
Sun: *Gathering all the information and not liking where this is heading, a pitifu hope* Maybe he will be a serial killer?
*More evidence showing the contrary*
Sun: *Deep denial at how insane this situation is* ALL BETS ON SERIAL KILLER!
