The babybones is enjoying the rather peaceful moment after removing his silly name. Everyone else, not so much.

"You are overreacting. It's not that bad. Maybe it will solve itself in the end"

Palette wanted to rip out his hair at the far too casually statement from the small child who he still couldn't place a name for. No matter how hard he thought, how he tried to scour through the Code he couldn't get a single name at all. He'd even tried nicknames and yet the majority wouldn't even leave his mouth without the unsettling sensation of static in his mind and the sensation of choking on the words.

"Don't you dare say I'm overreacting! Do you even realise what you've done?! A name is an integral part of you! You can't just erase it like it's nothing!"

Sun stared in amusement and great fascination as the usually calm and far too lackadaisical monster, acted like this. It made a part of him rather smug that he could cause reactions like this, briefly wondering if this counted as bullying children due to Palette's mental age but threw that argument out when he reluctantly counted himself as a child.

Yet another time his eternal child status came in handy.

Besides, he wasn't 'bullying', he was helping to build character!

This was a much better Ink type to be around really, so much more alive and far from a creepy doll that only knew how to smile or perform convoluted plans that made about as much sense as a mouse deciding it needed to take over the world.

Truly adults were idiots, a part of him almost glad he would never grow up in case he lost his precious mind and became like the rest of them.

"Are you even listening to me?! This is serious! Who knows how this affects your Code, let alone your health. If only you'd let me look, i could help"

He snorted at the whining at the demand, the day he let anyone look at his Code would be a cold day in hell. He'd been far too generous with his trust lately and while he might like this Ink hybrid in a way he couldn't fully place that hardly meant he was going to let them see a part of himself.

Perhaps he would have let Core at one point but....

He wasn't sure he wanted to know how messed up his Code was. How much it had changed since he was first dragged into this life kicking and screaming. He already knew he was some sort of freak, no need to have that confirmed.

"I'm not going to another doctor"

The delicate looking child sat down like everything was normal, their mismatched gold and orange eyes glaring at Dream as if they suggested he start bathing in acid as it was 'good for the skin'. It was getting tiring at this point, truly not thinking this was a big deal.

So what if no one could recall his name?

Loads of people didn't have names and no one was making a fuss about that!

His growing cult was starting to sing songs of despair and a dark prophecy was made, the missing name of their central figure causing strife in their ranks. Palette wisely decided not to bring up the cult or what they were saying.

"Please think about it. Something is wrong and we are all worried"

Dream carefully responded, it very much an underestimate of how worried everyone was by this strange phenomenon and was starting to lean towards the decision to call Blue. It had been years since he'd done so, not enjoying the interactions with the information broker despite them being the best out there. That he'd heard rumours of them working for the Meme Squad had put him in a mood even if he rarely dealt with those rejects anymore.

At least they had finally learned their place, wings fluffing up when the child's siblings' emotions did a downward turn. Even the new fluffy companions fur bristling, like they could sense the change in the air. He wouldn't be shocked considering how oddly intelligent the creatures were.

He had been tempted to get his own companion but when he went back to the market the tent had been missing, surprising in normal circumstances if he hadn't recently implemented AU travelling for all to be far more affordable, shaking it off as another mystery.

"'It's fine'. Are you hearing yourself! What happened to actually thinking! Are you taking this as some sort of game, because it's not!"

The kittens mewed and pawed at their companion's hands, worried at the distressing scent coming off them and magic sparking at their fingertips. Twin feline gazes locked on to Palette, their eyes briefly glowing, quietly watching to see which path the monster would pick. Dark orange eyes briefly glowed brighter before the smaller, lighter coloured kittens eyes wings perked up, mewing quietly to his sibling.

"Are you ignoring me?!...fine, if it's a game you are looking for then go play one. See if i care"

The words were said in anger, irritation underlying the tone and fear for the child. Palette didn't think too hard, his magic reacting to his words with one second Sun sitting at the table trying to eat some fish and the next the child was gone in a flash of light.

No one breathed, everyone staring at the empty spot before utter chaos erupted. It seems the quiet period had vanished, Palette froze like a statue before he scooped up the two cats, barely looking around before teleporting away, trying not to choke on the guilt threatening to overwhelm him. He had to fix this, he couldn't let his friend family go out there alone.

He owed them too much.

Roll the Dice!

Play the game!

Sun squinted at the letters floating in front of him, it truly not making any more sense the sixth time and still surrounded by pure black. At least he was a skeleton again but apart from that he had no clue what was going on.

He tried to move but was back in the same position seconds later. Nothing seemed to work, huffing and glaring at the words like they'd make more sense. He didn't have a stupid dice and even if he did why would he follow some stupid words?!

Instead he used his Fresh magic, smashing it into the floating words and smugly watching as the words glitched before a multicoloured number appeared in front of him with stupid sparkles.

"...why The FUNK does it say 20? What does that even mean?!"
