Sun unlocks another secret achievement and causes more chaos by simply being himself. A rather successful normal day in his opinion!

Forced Gods Multiverse

X-tale

"Why am I stuck holding the tiny godling?"

Error grumbled but was visibly careful in cradling the golden kitten who had fallen back to sleep, the white one curled around them in a protective manner. They weighed practically nothing and felt so delicate in his hold and yet what he had arrived to, was a true show of what they were capable of.

"They seem to like you! And they tried to scratch Dream when they got too close! Nightmare is busy being in shock and the kid kept gnawing at my scarf whenever I tried to pick them up!"

He scoffed at the blurted statement from Ink, who had been practically exuding rainbows and sunshines ever since they had all lost their strings of control, rather exhausted from just looking at them.

Of course he understood the reasons but he was still annoyed by it. Simply wanting to go to his lovely beanbag and go and relax for a decade or two.

He deserved to enjoy his retirement any way he wished and if that meant not seeing any living creature for as long as he wished, then dammit that is what he would do!

"We need to make sure this never happens again before we try and relax. Shields need to be wrought and plans sorted if we are ever forced to act in ways we don't wish"

Dream spoke up, his face far more serious than it had been in years. It jarring being able to relax his smile and actually express otheremotions not simply pertaining to his official role. He hated when monsters assumed he was always happy 'go lucky' and was unable to feel sad, 'Positivity' pertaining to more then just being all smiles. Toxic positivity a thing that so many mislabeled as his brothers domain.

He expectantly held out a hand towards Ink, accepting the lit cigarette and exhaling that wonderful golden flower extract that tickled his magic just right. Being deprived of so many things had truly made him cranky the few times he was allowed to act as himself in public.

"You are lucky that we aren't normal monsters. Those things would have likely killed you otherwise. Those years forced without was probably a blessing for your body"

Nightmare scolded and reared back in offense when Dream gave him the middle finger and continued smoking like it was air, tutting as he tried to fuss over his brother now that he had the ability to do so.

The high gathering of high level monsters in the AU was a beacon to any monsters sensitive to such magic but none were brave enough to get closer due to the past clashes with these monsters.

No one was stupid enough to come near during times like these, apart from the few mortal monsters who had been part of the fights for years. Ones associated with the two sides and were now gathered together staring in utter bemusement at the strange scene.

"...do you think the Boss is sick?"

Killer's whisper was hardly effective, never truly learning about an inside voice but thankfully for his health, no one was truly paying attention to them. Even Cross didn't try to smack him for being less than discrete words. It speaking volumes to the insane scene that they all simply stood there despite the many openings to attack, even Blue standing beside them with a wide eyed gaze.

"I THINK EVERYONE WOULD HAVE TO BE S-SICK THEN AND IT FEELS MORE THEN THAT..."

Blue's voice was softer than usual, a hint of uncertainty lining it at how lax and relaxed everyone was. Spotting Ink making himself at home by draping over Error and only earning a disgruntled look but not much else.

"..is this a trick?"

Cross weakly suggested, not believing his own words and shifted in discomfort when Nightmare actually hugged Dream without any hints of aggression. The group known as Bad Sans muttering among each other with Dust taking part for once instead of staying silent.

Blue's eyes narrowed as he took in the scene once again, his gaze landing on the two bundles of fur Error was holding with the cogs in his mind slowly turning. Slowly putting the clues together and looking at the phone poking out of Dream's pocket, usually not one to snoop and the one who usually insisted on preserving monsters privacy but the situation was odd enough that he felt he could bend that rule.

Just for today. He needed answers and he doubted any of them had thought how they would deal with the multiverses at large at this sudden change of dynamic, something he was more knowledgeable with.

Pretty sure that Dream's scowl would bring him nightmares and barely held back from scolding them at seeing them smoke.

Ccino cafe

"Look at how cute they are. Are you taking pictures? We can't miss a minute of this! Already influencing a multiverse and so naturally as well. It took me a millennia to do it without drowning everyone in my will. My child truly is perfect!"

CHAOS gushed, switching between cooing at Sun who was playing and bursting into parental tears of pride. Luckily a silencing ward around them so they wouldn't be heard with CHAOS only getting louder the more they watched

"Of course I'm taking pictures! Who do you take me for?! I will be the best godparent and I've been filming the entire time"

404 huffed defensively, filming the entire thing since they had arrived here and documenting every little thing Sun did. He accepted the drink dropped off by the local Ccino, the monster oddly unbothered by their presence let alone the Star and Bad Sans on the other side of the cafe loudly squabbling with each other.

"They might even have their first official cult!"

CHAOS couldn't wait to tell his twin how much Sun had gotten up to, the babybones was made for this and naturally fulfilled their role without even trying. Even the 'spite' part, that was oddly part of their CHECK.

Of course SPITE tried to mess with him but his child looked so happy and complete with that blessing, he couldn't be too mad...although he would be keeping a watch as he knew how competitive the Deities could get and could already taste LUCKS influence here.

How LUCK had time to watch this and the odd family they were gushing about was impressive, far more organised then him by far. He was interested in meeting the rare Bill monster they had been talking about, although another part of him was hesitant to let that level of chaos near his perfect child.

"Are we picking them up yet?"

Error asked, CHAOS shaking their head and went back to cooing as Sun tumbled with the other cats. Making himself comfortable when Sun pounced on Ink and caused a domino reaction, thinking they would be here for a while.

He ignored the talk about a cult, always knowing Sun had the charisma to bring people together.
