"....you want me to do what? I think i must have misheard you, as surely i didn't hear right"
Sun's face might as well be carved from stone and currently resembled a gargoyle with how his teeth were bared like he was seriously considering biting CHAOS, even if they were his parent. He might somewhat like love them but the words that just came out of their mouth wasn't enough to counteract the stupidly they just spewed.
Utterly unimpressed when CHAOS smiled brightly and far too obliviously for his liking, it never more obvious at times like these that they were still utterly blind to how normal people functioned. Hell, even he knew that and he was still a baby compared to his old fart of a parent the reasons he kept such information in mind and didn't always try and correct them was if he needed it to get his way, or for spite purposes.
"Don't you think it will be fun to go to school, little chaos? There will be lots of other children like Fresh around"
CHAOS smiled fondly and far too lost in parental bliss to notice the obvious. He still did his best not to coo at the adorable scowl he was given and tried to stay serious. It was so very hard not to pinch the puffed up cheeks and nuzzle the flattened ears in order to make the perk up again.
His child was far too cute in his opinion.
"...your family is, radical"
Fresh smile was slightly smaller, more confused than anything as he watched the back and forth. Not like his family at all and didn't really understand some of the words that were said but he couldn't deny the oddly warm feeling in his chest that Sun and Palette was including him in games and didn't even laugh at him at his word choice or clothes he preferred.
Palette was truly contemplating leaving, not like it would take much effort as he wasn't being trapped here. He doubted Sun would care and their mother only seemed to bring him here out of weird obligation. He could easily leave...and yet a part of him was morbidly wanting to see this to the end. To see the car crash upfront and how quickly this AU would burn if Sun is pushed far enough.
This was going to be such a mess.

Sun thought this was utter BULLSHITAKE. Still confused how he was convinced to actually go to the local school for a week and even more puzzled how he was wearing the school uniform that looked like vomit on a grey sidewalk. It itched on his very bones or at least it felt like it even though Palette looked unbothered by the military style uniform, that seemed to choke the life of anything near it.
It really didn't but Sun was feeling far from reasonable right now.
"It will be fine, Sun. A week here and then we will go to that cat multiverse I know you'd love. You might even find more of Petunia's kind there"
The cheery voice suddenly reminded him why he had agreed to this and the reminder that CHAOS would keep to their word...it was likely best to go along with this mess so he could keep an eye on his mess of a parent before they come up with another crazy idea. Knowing them they would slap some other surprise on him if he tried to wiggle out of this. It was always best to get the information first hand so he could prepare for it.

...at least Core would be with him, looking over the other two and then himself and thinking they made the strangest group of children. Doubting they would be able to go under the radar with how they naturally stood out.
"I'm not promising I won't burn the school if I am baby talked by any of the teachers...and I'm not doing homework or staying in a classroom if I'm bored. I also refuse to go to English lessons!"
He warned as old traumas from the few times he did go to school bubbled up briefly glaring at Palette for their role in that, not joking in the slightest and ignoring the gasp from a passing parent. Itching to bare his teeth at a stupid adult who muttered about lack of discipline.
God, this was hell and he hadn't even stepped into the building that reminded him of a toddlers painting with how many colours were splattered around.
Some deranged Ink type must have done that with even his desire to make things interesting, wanting to cringe away from it like it was radioactive.
"I wouldn't expect anything less. This is only for fun, little chaos. You are doing wonderful in lessons. This is only for fun. It's not like I can't RESET the place if you end up corrupting it. I only care if you have fun, sweetheart"
CHAOS casually spoke the unhinged statement, his smile a bit too wide to be comforting for most with a wild gleam in his eyes as he nuzzled his child like a wolf with their pup.
"...your parent is insane, Sun"
Palette deadpanned once they were escorted into the school building, tugging his shirt collar until the tie was looser. Never being to a normal school before but wasn't against getting more ideas if he ever wanted to improve his dream world. Huffing when Sun tripped him like they could hear his thought and also took offence to his words and he slammed face first into the ground.
"Keep your thoughts to yourself before i get Petunia to smother you in you sleep"'
Sun lazily drawled, his familiar off exploring the school to stake it out and had already forgotten the instructions of where he was supposed to go and simply went wherever he pleased.

The trio bickered casually for them but rather unhinged to any listening, all uncaring as they pushed open the assembly door and didn't even bother to lower their voices as they came in.
They certainly made an impression on their new 'school mates' in the end.
