"There is no need to glare. I know i messed up. I'm trying to fix it...."
Palette mumbled as he slumped onto the ground, covering his face in exhaustion while the kittens meowed loudly at him as if telling him off, which he knew he deserved. He wouldn't be surprised if they were, knowing that the babybones he had wronged would be able to know for sure...but they weren't here. Due to his stupid mistake.
The red ball of fluff sneezed and shared a look with his sibling, who simply nodded in agreement. They both needed to take care of the non-furred monster who was truly a helpless kitten. The grumpy kitten began to groom Palette while the one with far more delicate wings tried to wiggle under Palette's arms to nuzzle their face in order to get their attention.
It was a strange sight to see two tiny beings practically bully a larger monster to look after themselves, a passing Error looking briefly contemplative at the seemingly helpless Creator but stalled when piercing gold and dark orange eyes pinned him down. Seemingly daringfor him to get closer.
Error didn't run away and simply grew bored, of course he wasn't scared of two kittens no matter how it felt like they were staring into his very SOUL. He was simply going back to doing what he planned to earlier and far away from whatever that was.

After being fed some fish which he had no clue where the kittens had gotten it from and created a new set of clothes that weren't stained, he was ready. Batting away the numbers that tried to settle in front of his eyes with a careless flick. He usually found it fun to play in multiverses like this, the luck involved to 'win' amusing with numbers rolled for nearly every interaction and action, but he didn't have the time for that right now.
He had to find where exactly the babybones had ended up and hoped he hadn't dropped them in a dungeon or somewhere worse. This place was pretty but not exactly safe. Now how exactly was he going to find them-
"I can't believe a Tabaxi was in town. They rarely come unless a festival is on and a rare subtype as well!"
"Alot of things are strange lately. The monsters seem to be more alert and getting a bit too close to town. We might have to get a group to sort it out soon. My sheep were nearly eaten by some wolves last night!"
Huh, that was easy. He almost forgot the strange luck that followed Sun and yet it made everything so much easier. He could admit to himself to being a bit hasty when he first grabbed them to put them in his dream world that felt safer then the real world, mainly focusing on the Dream aspect then any personality traits they held. He had wanted to have a world that he could be himself, where the Star Sans were his age and he could act like himself and not some weird mix of his parents.
Perhaps most would be annoyed that their plan was shattered and he likely would have been if it was anyone but the tiny Dream did it. He wasn't sure what it was about the little Dream but they were so charismatic. Maybe it wasn't how most people would expect but it was so easy to be drawn to them, a sweet child who helped even if they acted like it was a massive chore the entire time.
They were so terribly sad as well, something he fully understood with the gift of the kittens who he could tell that the babybones had been tempted to keep, only furthering his conclusions on their character. He had rarely had such selfless comfort as he grew up, his parents rather hands off with no true friends of his all. No one ever seemed to understand him.
He adjusted his scarf as he casually walked through town, his unique looks not gathering any attention as this multiverse was full of the unusual, more species then he could count. He had really wanted to meet the Creator but so many Ink's got so weird when they saw him.
It's not like he didn't understand but it hardly meant he was looking for another parent, his own 'dad' more an untouchable figure then an actual person to him. He had no clue why his mother had been so shocked he turned out like this, it's not like he had much in life to look forward to or was that well socialised.
A small paw batted his face, the red haired kitten he still hadn't chosen a name glaring at him to focus and gently pet them in thanks.
"They shouldn't be too far. The Code has clearly been affected by the baybones presence"
He was still twitchy that the child had somehow muddled their own name with all the warnings about Code editing playing in his mind. Error had been so helpful when his parents hadn't been, learning so much more about his powers and how he could make them even more.
"I just hope they aren't getting in too much trouble. They can look after themselves but Coding issues arent a joke. It's already affecting the world around us"
He was troubled by it all, this multiverse Code shifting and adjusting. It taking the tiny Dream's presence as some sort of sign to up the difficulty of the land. It was a weird multiverse in that regard, that it was a strange game and yet weird life like in the same way. He really wanted to break down the Code to understand it better, sure it could lead to so many ideas when a fluffy tail brushing against his face made him focus.
Right, first get the tiny Dream, help sort whatever they did to their CHECK and...do something. The plan still had some work but it was a start!

"Where did he go?"
"How did you lose a child! Forget about getting a reward, we will get murdered if the child's parents found out"
"You really think that will happen?" We could just pretend nothing happened-"
"Have you forgotten that Tabaxi have heightened senses. We likely reek of the child's scent"
Sun nibbled on some odd meat he grabbed from the muscle head, watching the weird group run around like headless chickens as he lay across a high branch. He stretched his currently fully feline body, being back in this form lovely and curious if he could get larger like before.
He ignored the odd sounds of invisible dice rolling, amused when dark music began to play and wolves jumped out and surrounded the panicking group. These guys were truly entertaining, yawning as he considered having a nap.
Oblivious to how his presence made a simple 'Quest' into a Boss battle for the poor group who had stumbled upon him. Although he would unlikely care either way as the babybones had a nap to the music of growls and high pitched squeals of terror.
