Gold is trying his best. Dream is regretting leaving his bedroom this morning and Sun is meeting some very cute 'kitties'

———

UnderVerse?

Gold was very relaxed in his seat, his legs resting on the chair in front after knocking out another monster who looked oddly like him and while he radiated careless relaxation he was intently listening to everything going on around him. Being at that rehabilitation centre for decades had really helped his understanding of the two leggers world and it was greatly paying off now, just knowing that others of his type would have zero clue what some words being spoken meant.

He fiddled with the phone he had 'borrowed' from the first monster he knocked out, luckily no lock could truly block him out as with a spark of his magic it seemed to unlock just fine. The phone gave him a few names to look at and he used it to look up some things on something called the 'Undernet', that sounded like the internet in his world.

Wasn't that an odd thing to realise, that he truly was somewhere far from what he'd always known...apart from quite a few familiar faces in the room, amusingly enough most having the same name. This Dream was a dead ringer for his own but this one seemed less bright in a sense and also far more stressed then his own.

Although, perhaps they truly were the same and many things had changed over the decades.

At one point he was convinced he would never be able to live without his fellow Leviathans, all of them so few with no other species truly the same or understanding them but it was almost amusing how a few centuries could change one's opinion.

He was aware he could simply ask Sun as his family's scent had been on the hatchling but frankly he didn't care enough to do so and he would feel a bit like a monster if he tried to ask Sun any questions when the child looked fully relaxed.

Who knew it would take those 'feline' creatures to accomplish this, casually looking through the Undernet and pausing when he came across an advert for some sort of exhibit with animals. Perhaps once he was done here he could try visiting there, it could be fun and he saw a larger feline there he was sure Sun would like.

He was pretty sure the two leggers saying was 'the bigger the better?'

Dream was absolutely done, giving up on trying to gather anyones attention and knew he should have listened to his intuition this morning to simply stay in bed. Laziness might be some sort of sin but he was starting to see the benefits, especially if he didnt have to deal with any of this.

Why had he decided to lead this hell?

Oh yeah, due to some guilt complex and need to be helpful. He cursed his past self for such stupid ideals, staring rather wistfully at the door with only Blues disapproving look keeping him here.

Damn his past self for making friends who he actually cared the opinions of...Ink didnt count, staring in disbelief how the Creator had joined in the cat pile which he swore was getting bigger by the second.

He was pretty sure cats didn't breed that quickly but who truly knew at this point, not putting it past Ink to do something unnatural simply for entertainment. And people wondered why he preferred fighting with his brother then the so called 'peaceful' moments, not even going to address the new San's that was radiating a rather concerning mix of emotions.

Not his circus, not his monkeys.

A beautiful saying he was sticking with even if this was all very much in his purview but he was going to ignore that.
