Splinter tries a new approach with Sun, while Blue questions how they even got into this situation in the first place

"I dont think this will work"
Gold said bluntly, currently a large catless circle around him that seemed a no go zone for the cats, just like the first time he was here. He was so far liking the two legger called Splinter, the monster more practical in some regards then most, so he hadn't hesitated to sign some weird papers handed to him.
He saw a lot of odd symbols that two leggers seemed to favour in the document that he had had given up reading halfway through, it taking far too much effort to try harder but had got the general gist of what was being asked of him. He had been officially 'cleared' of any potential charges for this ongoing investigation about Sun's life before they met.
He had to say it was nice meeting people on the same wavelength as him even if he would have simply eaten any offender then all this wordy thing that two leggers seemed obsessed with. He had to admit there was slight disappointment that he likely would have a legitimate reason to test himself against Splinter, the monster looking fun to fight against but he was making a sort of friend.
His brother would be proud...if they even knew he was alive right now but that was very much not his concern anymore. Right now he had for more important things to deal with, like trying to understand why they were back here.
"I told you a companion would be helpful for them-"
"Thats not the issue im having here. Why are we here and not at the Zoo place? There were some decently fierce companions there to pick from. The large white thing wasnt too bad."
"ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT THE WOLVES?! PLEASE TELL ME YOU ARE JOKING RIGHT NOW?"
Blue's voice was strained, a clear pleading edge to his voice that was quickly crushed when he watched Gold go back to complaining truly thinking this was a monster from hell itself about the 'low quality' of the animals here.
He didn't even bother to look over at Ink anymore, the Creator no use and would have likely agreed with the strange monster to make it more 'fun' while Dream was over in the corner drinking from a suspicious metal flask that he could smell from here.
He was tempted to scold them but frankly saved his breath, this entire situation truly out of his control. Ever since the three of them were called for help they had been mere spectators for the entire thing. They always were whenever the MPS were involved but this was the worst case yet where he felt like he was practically useless for the entire thing.
He usually helped calm the child or dealt with the more social aspect of the usually tense situations to keep everyone calm with the help of Dream but this time they were here more due to protocol then anything else, almost afraid to ask to go home as he wasn't sure what the response would be.
It should be ridiculous that this was even happening in the first place, especially with two monster who were in the top five strongest in the multiverse and yet here they were acting like domestic pets.
It was simply unnatural watching Ink stand up at attention whenever Splinter spoke, as if a soldier waiting for an order and far from the simple minded Creator he knew them as.
Look, he liked Ink but he was very aware of his friends quirks and wasn't going to sugarcoat it. It was why it was so frustrating being in a situation like this, more then useless with even the babybones not wanting anything to do with the Star Sans.
So what exact help were they?!
"To show your support for this group of course! You can't deny helping children is a positive"
Blue felt he had a SOUL attack at the chirpy voice whispering beside him, flinching when he saw Splinter giving a wide innocent grin as if they hadn't just scared him half to death.
His words left him, something rare for him but the gaze from those chilling eyelights just seemed to do that. He wondered how they trained their staff as it seemed harder then the Royal Guard by far and their requirements to even apply were insane. He had only gotten a quick glance when the entire thing was being set up and while he was a hard worker the organisation was still too extreme for even him.
There was so much strange about this weird group, never able to narrow down what they were classified as with no one was even sure just how large they were as they got away with not updating the Council on that due to 'security' reasons.
If anyone had expected Dream or Ink to push back they were sadly mistake, Ink simply stamping his approval and moving on. He was pretty sure he had even seen Error's signature on the document but he had to be mistaken, surely this group would cause that much issue even for the Destroyer. That was ludicrous!..right?
Splinter truly wanted to burst into laughter but he had to keep some professionalism even if he found great amusement in this entire thing. Having power like this was so very nice and his supervisor would hardly complain if he enjoyed the full benefits of it, still curious on the story of the agent who had dealt with this Ink before when they had tried to lodge a complaint.
They had done an excellent job putting some fear in the Creator, there still betting pools on what the DreamSwap had done exactly. He truly thought it was unfair that the Dream types got the most fun but he supposed their character type did give that extra oomph needed to deal with certain stubborn monsters.
...although he could admit that perhaps Gold was right in their assessment in finding a companion for Sun here was a lost cause, all of the cats happily milling around the babybones but none seemed to catch the child's attention.
...or more that none were quite right. He was sure a feline would be the best option for Sun but perhaps he would need to ask his contacts about the less common types of felines out there.
"My cats! When did they get here?! INK! All of my cats better be here or i'm wringing your neck!"
...whoops, perhaps he should have talked to Ccino all the cats were back but it looks like the golden trio were the ones in trouble right now. What a lovely benefit of his job and even more so as Ccino helped found this branch so didn't think their team could do anything wrong. That the monster had a shocking temper also made them an honorary member, even if they weren't aware of that fact.
Life truly worked in funny ways, starting from a bored Creator to getting to mess with monsters while helping children at the same time.
Such a win-win.~

Gold: *Signing some documents with little care* So this will solve issues and stop any complaints?
Splinter: *Having used the worst kind of lawyer words to get away with enforcing extreme prejudice* Of course~
Dream: *Twitching while reaching for a long needed drink, not even bothering to analyse the blood lust going on*
-
Blue: *Tired and clueless why they were still here when not even helping* DO YOU THINK WE CAN GO HOME YET?
Dream: *Laughing hysterically at the question before going back to his 'tea'*
Ink: *Badly whistling whilst pretending he didn't hear a thing*
Blue: *Exasperated* ITS HARD TO THINK YOU TWO ARE POWERFUL MONSTERS. WHY ARE WE EVEN HERE?
Splinter: *Smiling 'innocently' and simply enjoying watching them squirm and using the full extent of his job title* I love my job~
-
Blue: *Trying to make small talk* SO, DO YOU GET ALONG WITH YOUR COWORKERS?
Splinter: *Thinking back how the office is destroyed once a month and there is an official arena to sort disputes in the team* Yep! We all get along like family. Pretty much like any other place
Dream: *Sensing the pure lies and looking for something even stronger to drink* I need to forget this cursed knowledge of that place. I already know too much
