Helios ducked when a chair went flying, the house creaking as the wards flared at full power as the damaged parts slowly started to rebuild. That had been an excellent addition to the wards, the first thing he had added to their home when they first moved here due to the nature of the multiverse they ended up settling in.
Perhaps to most it would look unstable with how an AU barely lasted a day before being switched for a completely new one but he found it delightful, the Creator and Destroyer of this place seeming to avoid the AU they picked for some odd reason.
The newly bonded couple had been very extreme with their affection and very possessive of each other which was natural for soulmates. So many poor monsters had been faced with that wrath with even the local gods of the place deciding to engage as little as possible with the couple. That even Pale who was soulless hadnt argued when Template suggested that, spoke volumes to how bad the two were.
"STAY STILL SO I CAN STRANGLE YOU!"
Helios wings twitched as his mate's voice boomed through the entire house, a brief love struck look overtaking his features as he admired his mate in rage before trying his best to focus on the present and at least try and save Gold.
So many issues had cropped up from something he had expected to be simple, it almost like little Sun was searching for crazy situations. First the tracker the agency had on all children's clothes seemed to have malfunctioned, only telling them that the child was alive likely the only reason Gold wasn't a smeared mess on the kitchen floor.
That Gold was simply laughing at the situation while they dodged the attacks from his increasingly irritated mate, hardly helped to calm down Mani, slowly edging towards the idea of simply leaving to go search for the child himself at this rate. Gold looked sturdy enough to survive and the number of AU's in the pace was never large to begin with so it shouldn't be too hard to locate their little ward. He'd already briefly gone out to check on their latest adopted child a full grown adult and was sure his mate would be delighted to hear that Marconi was doing well. Perhaps it would even put them in a better mood!
*CRASH*
*BANG*
...or not, slowly turning to face the new noise which was on the opposite side of the house where Gold was now running away from Mani holding a sledgehammer. It was a struggle to not take pictures to capture the adorable moment but he succeeded with great effort, trying to remind himself there were other important things that needed his attention.
He tried to settle his wings that were puffing up from all the emotions in the air, almost struggling with the sudden surge of emotions due to all the stress he was going under. He turned the corner towards the living room which was slowly rebuilding after Mani threw Gold through the wall ten minutes ago when he paused, stared down at the two figures on the floor with a bemused expression.
One looked like an Error but with cat ears of all things and the other an Ink with a very Fresh outfit...and both were very soaked and ruining the rug that he'd gotten Mani as an anniversary gift two years ago.
"Are you sure its in this direction, parasite? The bond feels too weak to tell"
"Oh, darling. You can call me Opal instead of all these cute nicknames. You are going to make me blush at this rate. Almost like our wedding night~"
"YOU DISGUST ME ON A VISCERAL LEVEL! If i wasn't trying to find Sun I'd kick you into the Void!"
Helios twitched at the babybones name, not even aware when his hand punched through the wall with his hand curling around a metal weapon, having a bunch hidden in the walls for emergencies like this. They had started this when they had their first child, little hands far too curious for their liking so this had been the compromise.
He happened to pull out a scythe, inscribed with the first words his sweetheart had spoken to him and the perfect first anniversary gift. He saw no better use of it then right now to deal with the heathens messing up his gifts and making a mess of his home.
He'd make an example of them before ripping any answers he could from them!

Ccino's cafe
Sun sneezed as he cuddled up to a pink cat that had heart designs on it, his gaze narrowing when his stalker radar blared before going oddly flat. Almost as if the problem had been sorted.
That was starnge and had never happened before, looking around warily but he didn't see any new visitors, only more cats and Pale quietly chatting with the local Ccino. He did prefer the quieter atmosphere here and he guessed he should head back to Gold soon, a scheduled talk with Splinter soon which he admittedly liked due to the lack of judgement.
It almost felt like life was getting back to normal, if he could forget about his many stalkers but right now he felt something he rarely felt.
Safe.
He had a smile as he nuzzled yet another cat that got close, the hideous smashed faced cat still on his lap quietly purring, a perfect weight against him and feeling nice and full after eating a variety of snacks over the last few hours.
He missed the new figure that entered the cafe, the generic skeleton barely catching anyone's attention and almost like a ghost as they drifted to a corner table without making a noise or disturbing any animals. Their dark sockets scanned the room before settling on Sun with an odd look. An emotion too complicated to pinpoint and yet so intense it almost brought a chill to the room.
It was safe to say that things were hardly going to be dull for the baybones, not even fate able to fully predict just how many twists and turns happening for the small child.
